I took a trip out to LA a couple of weeks ago, and of course I had to stop at Freestyle. This is the place I order most of my film, chemicals, and photo paper from.

On a full weekend, the 60 world’s best athletes in the disciplines of snowboarding, freeskiing, FMX and skateboarding competed for cash prizes totaling more than US$ 110,000 and the titles “freestyle.champ” and “crossover.champ”.

The few lines I attempt to make are placed with speed to reduce the amount of time drawing and to enforce a sense of constructive planning with minimal second-guessing on the finished product.
