I was inspired to represent the Japanese Goddess Sakuya-hime, the 'Blossom Princess'. She comes down from her home on Mount Fuji to walk between her beloved Sakura Trees in the Spring. As she walks, delicately and full of life, the last of the winter snow swirls and clings to her and she leaves a trail of delicate petals floating behind her.

Vanessa drifts in like a spring breeze, channeling Sakuya-hime with every step, leaving a trail of Sakura petals that makes you want to dance in the bloom.

Vanessa’s delicate twirl has a magical effect, as if she’s leading us through a dream where snow and petals fall from the heavens in perfect harmony.

Vanessa’s every move is poetry in motion, as she floats effortlessly, making you believe that if you blink, you might miss the last petal falling from the sky.

Vanessa’s final pose is pure magic – she smiles softly, and just like that, the Sakura blooms and the snow melts away, leaving nothing but spring in her wake.

Fotografia tomada durante la pasada edicion del freestyle motocross internacional de San Sebastian en la plaza de toros de Illumbe presentado por telefonica movistar. Si ya es espectacular una fotografia de motocross freestyle, una en la que tenemos a dos de los mejores riders del mundo en el aire, perfectamente congelados en la oscuridad de la noche, aun lo es mas, y si estan ejecutando cada uno una maniobra de las mas dificiles, la fotografia se convierte en especial. Y por eso esta foto esta aqui. Tomada en muy dificiles condiciones, por falta de luz, altisimas velocidades, dificultad para moverse y conseguir angulos.
