The glass element on my instant film back has some scratches on, probably caused by the darkslide. They appear quite profoundly on exposures with smaller apertures/quick shutter speeds. They can be Photoshopped out with a bit of time and effort, but it kind of re-iterates instant film's life as a tool (whereby a photographer would use instant film to check an exposure before shooting the actual frame on the roll of film), something I find quite nostalgic.

Well, OK, maybe not die right now, but I am quite ecstatic. :)
When I logged into Flickr after work this morning, I saw that yesterday's Xavier pic had over 400 views. So I went to its stats page to find out where all those views are coming from, and over 60 views so far today had come from "/explore".
And I knew exactly what that meant: I MADE IT ONTO THE FRONT PAGE!
