And you thought only 1950's cars had fins? Detail: the new Globe and Mail building, King Street East, Toronto.

Canyonlands NP, from a bit west of Grand View Point. The white layer is White Rim Sandstone, a hard layer that retards erosion of the layers beneath. Here it often remains as a capstone to a slender tower. The layer appears to be much thinner here than near Green River Overlook, seen in other photos.

Have a nice week ;)

When you get lemons ...

The sky was dull and flat, so I borrowed another one. I took the foreground from one of the Ricoh Theta S 360 degree shots, in equirectangular format, and cropped on the fin rock.

It's supposed to be kind of a mythical image, I guess ...

This weird fin of rock was almost unvisited a few years ago. Over time, it's gotten more and more people going there. For protection of the feature and to avoid visitors trespassing to get to it (it's in the checkerboard area of land ownership), I won't give a location. Also, those of you who know this feature or have been there, I ask you don't post it's name. Thank you.

Colors were nice tonight. Davenport, CA.

FIN TASTIC CAPTURE !!!!!!!!

ZOOM IN to the little grebes stickleback catch, and you can see its being held by its pectoral fin only, and stills manages to devour it.

Thanking you for your visit, any comments are always appreciated, God bless and stay safe my dear friends...Tomx.

What a perfect photo for Fin's 100th day. Joey caught this with my camera as we were attempting to take pictures with them in Fin's room
