A lovely bright day out the FFF+ group today started with a wander around Woodlands where Andrew www.flickr.com/photos/ajhaysom/ and Beverley www.flickr.com/photos/137349496@N06/ get so many of their beautiful bird photos. Als full time vader en echtgenoot sta ik, op de incidentele hoofdlijnritten van de SSN of VSM en de evenementen na, bijna niet meer langs het spoor. Wat ik aan NS (of andere maatschappijen) materieel fotografeer is vaak bijvangst van stoom of museummaterieel waar ik voor op uit was getrokken. Gelukkig komt het nog wel een enkele keer voor dat ik even tijd heb, maar dat is helaas maar sporadisch. In dit geval ben ik, vlak voordat alles op slot ging i.v.m. Corona, nog even snel met mijn oudste zoon naar Dordrecht gegaan om nog wat (goederen)treinen te kunnen vastleggen.
As a full-time father and husband I hardly make pictures of regular trains. Almost only when the SSN or VSM has one of their rare main line trips, I am able to catch some regular trains too. So what I catch with my camera of the NS (or other companies) trains is often a side catch of steam or museum material passing by. Fortunately I do find occasionally some time to make pictures.
In this case, I went with my eldest son to Dordrecht to see some goods trains. Just in time, before everything went into lockdown.
