"Baby, be my next prey,
I'll make you make me chocolate pancakes,
Kiss me on my dumb face-
Could it be I'm your taste?
Have you seen what hides on my face?
Can you see my fangs?"

Kaos showing his fangs while he still had them. He’s now toothless because of TR (Tooth resorption) - a quit common problem among cats, a painful condition that has to be diagnosed by x-ray and the treatment is tooth extraction.
He´s now a happy pain free cat again :)
The jagged south face of Flattop Mountain belies its name, with topography far different from its flat summit. The valleys below the mountain were carved by Pleistocene glaciers that receded around 12,000 years ago, with wind and water erosion sharpening the granitic ridges into fanglike projections. The summit ridges of this part of the Continental Divide are remnants the high plateau created by mountain building 70 million years ago, once covered by softer sedimentary rock that has eroded away, but not as impacted by glaciation as the surrounding valleys.

Huntington Gardens
San Marino, CA
From Huntington.org:
Liu Fang Yuan is based on the mid-late Ming dynasty (1368–1644) style of a scholars’ garden, especially the gardens from the city of Suzhou, China. The mid-late Ming dynasty, 16-17th centuries, was a time of increased garden-making activity in China because of a variety of economic and social factors.

Immer, immer weiter - hoch hinaus
Immer, immer weiter - hoch hinaus
Auch wenn wir schon weit gekommen sind
Wir gehen immer weiter - hoch hinaus
Egal wie hoch die Hürden auch sind
Wenn dir die Luft ausgeht
Nur nicht nach unten sehen
Wir gehen immer weiter - hoch hinaus
Immer, immer weiter - hoch hinaus.....
Coin operated binoculars, encrusted in snow, near the summit of Cannon Mountain, New Hampshire. It looked like a face, with a single, pointy tooth... =)
The seasons' difference, as the icy fang
And churlish chiding of the winter's wind,
Which, when it bites and blows upon my body,
Even till I shrink with cold, I smile ~Shakespeare.
Thank you so much for your visit!

The Terrace is ever changing, formations form and collapse, water takes a different path; always spectacular no matter how often I visit. Must be time to take a trip!
Life is hard…the tide of Salvation History carries us in a general direction regardless of our choices. Our awareness of this truth is a beautiful gift. We get to participate in an individual way (with awareness) that our choices matter…even when we feel the opposite. So, every morning this reluctant deacon gets up…says his morning prayer and faces the mystery of something (maybe mundane) new with hope and love. This is my life now and I am blessed to have the vision that my vocation provides and requires.
