Had a fun shoot the other day with a BMW E92 M3 and a F80 M3. Which one do you prefer, coupe or sedan? Personally I prefer the F80 sedan, I just love the fact it looks so much wider than the E92.

BMW F80 M3
Bugs, dirt, and mud decorated the front bumper after a brisk run up San Gabriel Canyon Road near Los Angeles, CA.

I love waiting for the sun to set while I'm doing a shoot. Prime example of almost straight out of camera shot. The sun overpowered the shot a bit so I just had to adjust a lot of white balance stuff to get it how I saw it.
2018 BMW M3 with Competition Pack. Top speed is a little lower compared to the V10-powered M6, but everyday usability is infinitely higher, 0-60 is much quicker, the 1/4 mile is much quicker, and the front end feels comparatively weightless, so turn-in is ... divine.
I know I know, Dan you haven't used FLICKR in forever. Maybe I just get too busy to upload stuff, or keep up to date, but I'm going to try and upload more to this page. If you are searching for car stuff I usually keep my facebook page (dkfx photography) up to date, as well as my wedding stuff (dan kinzie photography) up to date much more often, as well as my two websites www.dkfxphotography.com and www.dankinzie.com
THAT BEING SAID! ON TO THIS HOT BEAST!
Could an Austin yellow brand new BMW M3 get any hotter? This competition package is insane, and the color is just dripping. My good friend Tony, who just sold his 600+whp 135i (and basically got me into n54 engines) picked up them gem right before New Years and immediately had it coated at the best detail shop in the city, EastSide Auto Spa. Shoutout to Jason Maudlin of BMW Cincinnati North for making this deal too good to pass up for Tony!
Both of these shots were done RANDOMLY while I was testing out some video gear, but hey, when in rome.
Shot with a Canon 5d Mark 3, and my 17-40 F4 using light painting.
