With a trio of GP20C-ECOs for power, F13 is seen hustling south on the Bangor Sub, crossing the Marsh Stream in Winterport. The white tank cars headpin are a mix of loaded and empty clay cars for Sprague in Searsport, the only customer that CP currently serves in Searsport.

In the Swedish fauna, there are three quite similar white butterfly species (and another couple of species sort of looking likee them). They are possible to tell apart, but have similar names. It's not much better in English where they also have similar names - but also that they as so often with English vernacular names, have a smattering of different names for the same species. This one is called the large white (Pieris brassicae), but is also known as cabbage butterfly and cabbage white.
I found this one and a whole slew of its brethren fluttering around as a group at the Hemmesta sjöäng wetland at Värmdö in the inner archipelago of Stockholm, Sweden.
I have no idea what the pretty pink flower is called, but would be delighted if anyone recognises it.

Right after finding the green-socks peacock beetle here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/53022438739/ - we stumbled on a second one. Like less than a minute after!
This is a different species however, the slightly larger copper peacock beetle (Elaphrus cupreus) - with the most adorable purple spots on the elytra.
Just like with its green cousin minutes before, this one was running around like on crack or something so my son's hearding skills were put to the test again, but it worked out in the end.
