This aircraft was delivered new to Swissair as HB-IQD in February 1999. It would then operate for Swissair successor Swiss International Air Lines under the same registration between March 2002 and January 2004. The aircraft then entered service with Air Caraibes as F-OFDF on January 26, 2004.

This aircraft was delivered new to Swissair as HB-IQD in February 1999. It would then operate for Swissair successor Swiss International Air Lines under the same registration between March 2002 and January 2004. The aircraft then entered service with Air Caraibes as F-OFDF on January 26, 2004.

Built for Swissair as HB-IQD in 1999 and briefly flown by successor Swiss International, this A.330-200 was withdrawn from use in late 2003, and handed over to Guadeloupe-based Air Caraïbes in January 2004, together with a second aircraft, in order for Air Caraibes to start regular Pointe-a-Pitre to Paris-Orly flights, for which it also established a base at Orly.
Now registered F-OFDF, the aircraft became a regular at Zürich, as it was normally shuttled back and forth between Orly and Zürich, for attention with SR Technics. F-OFDF was captured leaving after maintenance, about to line up on runway 28 amidst an Airbus heavy departure rush, following a Swiss A.340-300 that can be seen lifting off, and followed by another SRT visitor behind, a Gulf Air A.330.
F-OFDF is still with Air Caraïbes today, but is sort of a stand-by aircraft, being stored in France when not used, and regularly reactivated when needed. Flights across the pond are now mostly operated by subsidiary Air Caraibes Atlantique, with new generation A.350s.
