I own this Chanel product for 26 years. I don't think it is made any longer. I use it very often. This compact has 2 colors - a black and a deep blue, and it comes with a small application brush. It is used to draw lines around the eyes to accentuate them. Blending it with a little drop of water, you can choose to make bold lines or just a thin discrit ones. To say the least, it is a fantastic addition to any make-up bag. I remember when the Chanel make-up sales associate forced this product on me. She had a line perfectly drawn on her eye-lids which made her look very attractive. I bought it thinking I would look just as young and pretty as she did! The original card-box packing still shows its price tag from Bergdorf Goodman Store - $36.50. I might not look like her but, I can assure you, every time I use this product I am in a positive and happy mood.
I must say, this was one of the best $36.50 I ever spent. I wonder if that sales woman still uses her "ligne de Chanel"?
Back when life didnt suck so much I had ordered 2 lea's knowing that their makeup might be a bit different.
Now I cant decide which one i like better
1. has Lighter Lips and slightly less dramatic eyemakeup but she seems a toucher Orangier
2. Has darker more Dramatic lips and eyemakeup and she is more of a dark Tan, Less Orangey.

Again, another image from a previous shoot experimenting with the shadows cast from a strip of film negatives. Loved doing this shoot although unfortunately had to make do with a desk lamp and no tripod so wish i could do this over again with my new found skills but thought this shot was quite nice.

Today, March 26th, Jamie and Tasha put on a lot of black eye makeup and just let it run down their faces... These are all really contrasty but I guess I like them in a way.
Wemberly - What happened? I went to sleep and when I woke up... I was all different... Am I dreaming? What's going on? Do I know you? Why are my legs and arms all bendy and skinny?
Wemberly is a perfectly adorable custom by Johnathan Roberts... he carved and painted her face and eyemech. I just fell in love with her when I saw her lips! He did such a wonderful job.
He kindly agreed to let me add her chips and eyemakeup and freckles.
well, i was bored, so i decided to apply a bunch of makeup and take some pictures of it. this is one of the better ones

Sometimes in life it's not easy to keep smiling... but I find when I don't, even if things aren't all the way I'd like them to be, it just seems to be worse... So I always try to keep a positive attitude and a smile on my face. I instantly thought of the above song when I saw these "tools" on my dresser and had to photograph it... I hope it puts a smile on your face. :-)
