Tomorrow a very small group are having a special dinner for Karin. My coworker and friend is cooking some of her favorite dishes, Karin is dying. Her treatment is not working and the tumors have grown. She lost 15lbs this week alone. Her elderly mom is a nurse and is insisting Karin move back to Colorado near her sister for the time she will remain on this earth. As much as I want to see her, it will be a most difficult dinner to attend. A person so full of life one day and the next her fire extinguised.....a time for us to reflect on life and its significance.

we did a really fun, spontaneous shoot yesterday. she was afraid that she was gonna be uncomfortable but i think the makeup unleashed some inner super model ;) styled by me as well (using her clothes ofcourse)

This look was for a makeup challenge for "monochromatic" colors and since I love purple I went crazy with it haha

I think it's the subtle eyemakeup of Rosey Reds, but for me, Harriet always seems the most "wide eyed" of my Blythes. I think this is what makes her super cute in my book!
