A beautiful sunset at Goleudy Tŵr Mawr on Ynys Llanddwyn, Anglesey. 🌅 This historic lighthouse has been guiding sailors since the 19th century, perched on this rocky headland with breathtaking views over the Irish Sea. The perfect spot to watch the day come to an end.

Early morning views in North Wales

A sunrise that reminded me why it’s always worth going out, even when the forecast says otherwise 🌅

I almost stayed home this morning. The weather didn’t look promising and the light felt like a gamble. But Llyn Padarn had other plans. Soft mist drifting over the water, perfect reflections, and a calm that wrapped around everything as the sky slowly came to life.

Standing here in the stillness, I felt a deep sense of peace and clarity. Moments like this can’t be predicted. They’re earned by showing up. Being out, waiting, trusting the process will always beat staying home wondering what if.

Sometimes the most perfect conditions are the ones you never expect.

One of the best seasons of the year... lovely colours along Llangollen Canal

Dinorwic Quarry is an amazing location for any photographer, with so many subjects to photograph you can be spoilt for choice. This image is of Dali's Hole, in Dinorwic Quarry, the water is always a rice turquoise colour and is best seen when the sky is overcast. This was a rushed photograph taken in late Autumn during heavy rain squalls. I need to go back when there is not so much water flowing, and the small slate shelter becomes exposed above the surface of the pool.

Rhaeadr Mawddach – Exploring Rhaeadr Mawddach located in Coed-y-Brenin Forest is a joy. The area has gorges and hidden buildings scattered around the forest all waiting to be explored. This bridge crosses Afon Mawddach (River Mawddach) upstream from where the Afon Gain joins the Mawddach.

Embarking on an unforgettable journey to the rugged eastern tip of Madeira. ⛰️

The hike across Ponta de São Lourenço is easily one of the most breathtaking experiences on the island. No trees, just raw volcanic landscape, salt-spray air, and views that stretch on forever. It’s a bit of a trek, but every step is worth it for a view like this.

If you go, bring plenty of water and a windbreaker—the Atlantic breeze doesn’t play around! @Visit Madeira
