WAHAIWA, Hawaii – Twenty-two Expert Infantryman Badge candidates receive their new shiny true blue EIB Aug. 28 on Schofield Barracks, after completing a 12-mile forced road march in under three hours and then proceeded to conquer a mystery event with a 20-minute time standard, known as Operation Bull. The awardees who exceeded course standards by receiving first time go on all events were: 1st Lt. Robert Doyle, an infantry officer assigned to 1st Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Jonathan Kaicher, an infantry officer assigned to 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 2SBCT. Went to Brighton with my Grandad for photography and a catch up. Had a fantastic time as always, is always great seeing my Grandad. He gifted me a new 50MM Macro Prime for the Olympus that will hopefully be featured shortly. We had some fantastic food and saw a wide range of places and people, a few oddballs but who are we to judge. I am probably just as weird as them in the long run.
