Munich’s Harthof Underground Station: The columnless platform hall exudes a certain sobriety, since its design is comparatively “inexciting. ” On closer inspection, however, the well-thought-out integrated lighting and the careful handling of shapes, colours and materials stand out. The folded roof construction serves both as a light reflector and as a structural element of the platform, since you have the feeling of being in a building with a conventional roof. The walls decorated with light pink and garnet red glass tiles refer to the strong red of the line ribbon. The station was planned by the Obermeyer architectural office in collaboration with the city’s subway department. Opening: 20 November 1993. (Source: www. u-bahn-muenchen. de)

Don't just read, absorb.
Don't just change, transform.
Don't just relate, advocate.
Don't just promise, prove.
Don't just criticize, encourage.
Don't just think, ponder.
Don't just take, give.
Don't just see, feel.
Don't just dream, do.
Don't just hear, listen.
Don't just talk, act.
Don't just tell, show.
Don't just exist, live."

Digital Art,
made with stable diffusion, topaz and photoshop.
After 12 pm, the City turns off the lighting of the buildings and also the water fountain on the Alster is switched off. The same applies also to the Speicherstadt: so who wants to photographically experience Hamburg's illuminations, must finished until 12...this shot was made shortly after midnight... ;o)

Visited a very quite Moraine Lake ("above" Lake Louise). the parking lot at L. Louise was full again so we decided to try our luck at Moraine. No problems parking there. You should have seen it last year, people lining up at the road entrance at 5:00AM to get up to the lake. Like it a bit better this way. ;( though mixed feelings about the reasons !! see date if you remember those times.

For "uva uvam vivendo varia fit" -- ODC
"The Latin phrase, "uva uvam vivendo varia fit" that appears on the Hat Creek Cattle Company is a corruption of the latin phrase "uva uvam vivendo varia fit" from the scholia to Juvenal 2.81. It means, literally a grape changes color [i.e., ripens] when it sees [another] grape."

A beautiful sunset experience at the open air museum Zaanse Schans with view at river De Zaan, Zaandijk, 2016.
Thank you very much for your visits, faves and kind comments.
one of the finest experiences north of the Arctic Circle is midnight sun sailing through waters spotted with ice. The midnight sun is a natural phenomenon in which the sun does not set for a matter of days or even months .The traditional notion of time loses all meaning in Greenland. In the period of the Midnight Sun the day has neither beginning nor end.
“Experience the comforting elegance of French Onion Soup. This rich, savory soup, made with caramelized onions and hearty beef broth, is topped with melted Gruyère cheese and paired with crusty bread. Perfect for a cozy meal, it combines deep flavors and rustic charm in every bowl.”

The MARTa Museum for contemporary art, located at Herford, Germany.
Architect: Frank Gehry
Built: 2005
With its flowing, tilting walls, the Marta is one of the most unusual museum buildings in the world. The flowing dynamic of the forms resonates in the loose bond of the bricks on the ground, and the wavy roof landscape reflects the adjacent course of the River Aa. This continues inside the museum: as a dynamic volume of space which is practically choreographed, the architecture transforms every exhibition into a unique spatial experience.
