A sinner is impossible to experience happiness and good health during his life! Disease is always the outcome of sin like a wrong habit or wrong activity. Only truth makes one healthy and happy!
The most exciting thing is always at the border. Be it the boundary between light and dark or between cold and warm or between fog and sunshine.

Der Münchener U-Bahnhof Harthof: Die säulenlose Bahnsteighalle strahlt eine gewisse Nüchternheit aus, ist sie doch in ihrer Gestaltung vergleichsweise "unaufregend". Bei näherer Betrachtung fallen jedoch die durchdacht integrierte Beleuchtung und der behutsame Umgang mit Formen, Farben und Materialien auf. Die gefaltete Dachkonstruktion dient gleichermaßen als Lichtreflektor wie auch als gliederndes Element des Bahnsteigs, hat man doch das Gefühl, in einem Bauwerk mit herkömmlichen Dach zu sein. Die mit hellrosa und granatroten Glasfliesen verzierten Wände nehmen Bezug auf das kräftige rot des Linienbandes. Geplant wurde der Bahnhof vom Architektur-büro Obermeyer in Zusammenarbeit mit dem städtischen U-Bahn-Referat. Eröffnung:

Munich’s Harthof Underground Station: The columnless platform hall exudes a certain sobriety, since its design is comparatively “inexciting. ” On closer inspection, however, the well-thought-out integrated lighting and the careful handling of shapes, colours and materials stand out. The folded roof construction serves both as a light reflector and as a structural element of the platform, since you have the feeling of being in a building with a conventional roof. The walls decorated with light pink and garnet red glass tiles refer to the strong red of the line ribbon. Sorrento, perched picturesquely on a plateau above the sea with spectacular views over the Bay of Naples, has been a popular tourist destination for almost two centuries. Traditionally the town is one of the favourite resorts of British visitors to Italy, and over the last few decades it has ruled as Italy's leading package-holiday destination for English-speakers. The historic seaside town has learned to live with, and make the most of tourism, and in return it offers a classic 'Mediterranean summer holiday' atmosphere - but without losing all of its Italian character and charm. The key attraction of Sorrento is that it can offer a variety of holiday experiences to suit different visitors, from rural walks through lemon and olive groves to a choice of excursions by land or sea. Pompeii, Herculaneum and Naples are accessible in one direction, and the Amalfi Coast in another. Days out can include Roman ruins, low-key seaside resorts, traditional villages and breathtaking scenery. Being well-connected and easy to get to makes this a straightforward and practical holiday choice.

for all of us. The elk cow to the right had to go back and get her baby calf because it wouldn't come. She looked rather perturbed judging by her ears being pinned back every once in a while. The very last baby was hurt in the hind end when it climbed the bank. If it doesn't heal soon things won't look good for it, the predators prey on the weak. Taken from my kayak.

Making their way east through the popular Byers Canyon just outside of Hot Sulphur Springs, UP coal train CSVJA navigates the tight turns through the rugged landscape.
Sometimes I ride my bicycle through the places of strange calmness. It will force you to stop and unmount and observe. The forest communicate on strange levels with the soul. It keeps your counciousness out of the game, leaving only the weird sence of spiritual experience...
Northern class 150 unit 150104 (partnered with 150138) departs Blackpool South with the 3.16pm to Colne (2N78).
With a scheduled 4 minute turnaround at this terminus, there's barely time for the driver to walk from one end of the train to the other before setting off again. On this day the turnaround was even tighter seeing as arrival from Colne was 2 minutes late.
Blackpool South, with its single platform and evidence of former glories en route, is very much the Cinderella line into this popular northern seaside town. In fact a significant part of the remaining platform has been abandoned to nature, as seen in this shot. By contrast Blackpool North is vibrant, recently electrified, and boasts fast direct services to London Euston. No surprise It also handles the vast majority of passenger arrivals and departures.
I arrived into this station on a sunny Sunday afternoon and walked the two miles or so along the bracing, enjoyable and ever vibrant promenade before waltzing back inland to North Station for the rather faster ride back to Preston.
A bit of a record shot so I'm not expecting a ten from Len. Sure I spotted Madge though.....

While Graham took Rufus out for his last prom, I took my soft drink outside onto the patio.
As I opened the door, I noticed our Collared Dove was on the table, so slipped back inside for my camera.
I spent about ½hr out there with it, while it had some bird seed and a drink. It didn't mind my camera at all and I began breathing again when it finally flew off!
An honour, privilege and just wow.

Visited a very quite Moraine Lake ("above" Lake Louise). the parking lot at L. Louise was full again so we decided to try our luck at Moraine. No problems parking there. You should have seen it last year, people lining up at the road entrance at 5:00AM to get up to the lake. Like it a bit better this way. ;( though mixed feelings about the reasons !! see date if you remember those times.

My dad took us to Cirque Du Soleil on my birthday this year. Seeing the smiles and amazed faces of my children; Spending quality time with my parents; Attending an entertaining event. These memories will last longer than any item I could have received.
This holiday season I'll be trying to give experiences instead of presents. As a bonus, this means very little time squished into shopping malls.

Sam - "What experience are you going to give me?"
Me - "The privilege of cleaning the upstairs bathroom."
