A beautiful Nature preserve in Bavaria/ Germany!
The Daphne or also Doost is a geo top in the municipality of raft (district of Diepoldsreuth) in the district Neustadt an der Waldnaab in Northern Bavaria. The Daphne consists of rounded granite rocks with diameters of 50 centimeters up to 5 meters, have gathered in the course of the Brook Girnitz.
The rock formations were formed by weathering and glacial processes.
Numerous stories and legends have grown up around the Daphne.
Already in 1937, the Daphne to the nature reserve was declared. The 10-acre complex offers a pristine Habitat numerous plant and animal species.
The Daphne is a very popular hiking destination, to which several hiking trails are signposted in the indigenous population.
Sometimes in nature things are wild. The remote desert sometimes creates it's own patterns and then the sky paints over the more permanent rock formations that make up the landscape. In the end it's all impermanence. Although perhaps these rock formations are just brief stretch of time in a universal sense, I will probably be able to come back to this place through out my life and enjoy the same patterns.
Cropped in 16:9 and my latest background image for my desktop is this shot from Port Fairy. Such a beautiful town, one which I really enjoy visiting, not just for taking photos but for all the wonderful restaurants, cafe’s and pubs and activities on offer. Tried to limit the movements in the boats, although still get a nice reflections in the water with this long exposure.

Mayakovskaya (Russian: Маяковская), is a Moscow Metro station on the Zamoskvoretskaya Line, in the Tverskoy District of central Moscow.
The name as well as the design is a reference to Futurism and its prominent Russian exponent Vladimir Mayakovsky. Considered to be one of the most beautiful in the system, it is a fine example of pre-World War II Stalinist Architecture and one of the most famous Metro stations in the world. It is most well known for its 34 ceiling mosaics depicting "24 Hours in the Land of the Soviets." During World War II, it was used as a command post for Moscow's anti-aircraft regiment.
