Along the Everest Base Camp Trek between Lobuche 4930m, (16,174’) and Goarshep 5180m (16,994’) are some of the most scenic views in the Himalayas!
My fav peak in Nepal, Nuptse standing at 7861m on a super cold night with so much frost on my camera and my fingers doesn’t really want to work haha. Earlier in the day, we saw a porter carrying 70kgs worth of 500ml bottles of Coca-Cola along the hike and probably walking way faster than me. So ridiculous..
The main peak on the left is 6,812 m (22,349 ft), the lower western peak featured in the foreground is 6,170 m(20,243 ft) One of the most beautiful and popular peaks in the Himalayas!
You can get the view of the great mt. everest, Mt. lhotse, Mt. Nuptse and many other beautiful Himlayas from this view point.
On the way to the Everest Base Camp. Just a few minutes remaning.
You can see a part of the Khumbu Icefall and the way to Camp 1 on the south side.
The Annapurna Circuit is a trek within the mountain ranges of central Nepal. The total length of the route varies between 160–230 km (100-145 mi), depending on where motor transportation is used and where the trek is ended. This trek crosses two different river valleys and encircles the Annapurna Massif. The path reaches its highest point at Thorung La pass (5416m/17769 ft), reaching the edge of the Tibetan plateau. Most trekkers hike the route anticlockwise, as this way the daily altitude gain is slower, and crossing the high Thorong La pass is easier and safer.
The mountain scenery, seen at close quarters includes the Annapurna Massif (Annapurna I-IV), Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, Pisang Peak, and Paungda Danda. Numerous other peaks of 6000-8000m in elevation rise from the Annapurna range.
One of the tea shops we stopped at on our trek Everest Base Camp. This one is about 15,500' (4,724m) on the path between Dingboche and Lobuche

Hiking the Everest Base Camp Trek shortly after sunrise. This is the view from the shores of the Imja Khola river, between the villages of Deboche and Pangboche. Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812 metres - 22,349 ft) looks majestic in the background.
The sacred Ama Dablam beams its blessings to the three good porters who toil hard for a living, in the cold environs of the Khumbu region.

Located in Khumjung Village Development Committee of Solukhumbu District in Sagarmatha Zone in north-eastern Nepal. The Gokyo Lakes are considered sacred by both Hindus and Buddhists. About 500 Hindus take a holy bath in the lakes during the Janai Purnima festival, which usually occurs in the month of August. The site is worshipped as the residing place of 'Nag Devata' (Snake God); a temple of the Hindu deities Lords Vishnu and Shiva is situated at the western corner of the lake. The belief that birds and wildlife in the area should not be harmed has traditionally protected fauna.
My first pair of Keen shoes lasted many years in all kinds of weather. Took me to Mt. Everest base camp, tops of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Mount Kosciuszko, and Mt. Whitney, and 20 US national parks. Also walked me across Charles Bridge in Prague! And on many other adventures. But for COVID, these would have gone with me to Peru (in August 2020), thus accompanying me to all continents except Antarctica. Now they just hang in there reminding me not to hang up my hiking boots yet.

Thamserku (21,806 ft) towers over the boreal forests of Nepal. Although Nepal is not technically a kingdom anymore, the Himalayan scenery along the trek to Everest Basecamp feels medieval. The peaks are more majestic than your wildest expectations and the friendly villages and cliffside monasteries feel like were dropped there straight out of a storybook. Nepal is that rare place that makes you feel like you are stepping back in time to a simpler era.
