FORT SHAFTER, Hawaii—Competitors for the 2010 U.S. Army, Pacific Warrior Challenge receive a coin and certificate of appreciation from Lt. Gen. Benjamin R. Mixon, commanding general, USARPAC, and Command Sgt. Maj. Joseph P. Zettlemoyer, command sergeant major, USARPAC during the icebreaker social event at the Hale Ikena, Jun. 7. The five day competition, hosted at Schofield Barracks, June 7-11, will push the Soldiers and NCOs through a variety of challenges, both mental and physical. The goal of the competition is to find the best, most well-rounded Soldier and NCO in USARPAC to represent the command at the Department of the Army competition later this year.
