Copper wire Eternity style branched vine ring
Inspired by that tree I photographed several months ago in my neighborhood, this ring is made from 18 gauge oxidized copper wire. It is twisted and curled around to look like vines. The rhodolite garnets go completely around the band with the ones in the "back" set into the vine to protects them while wearing.
Fits a size 6.

This ring is my version of the classic "Eternity Band". It incorporates 20 Natural Sapphires which vary in size and color, passing all the way around the ring.
The stones alternate from 2.1mm to 2.5mm and then 3mm, and then back again for a total of: 5- 2.1mm sapphires, 10- 2.5mm sapphires and 5- 3mm sapphires. these are all 100% natural and have not had any treatments. I know becasue my family mined the rough stones and I had them cut myself.
The colors include white, silver, grey, aqua, light blue and light yellow. All of the stones ar at least eye clean.
The ring is completly hand made by me and I personally hand set each and every stone. Following the sapphires, like the ripples in a pond, is my sandcastle texture.

Let me explain.
I have these 2 aunts. About 8 years ago or so both aunts received an engagement/wedding ring upgrade from their husbands. As beautiful as their new rings were at the time I said it was something I would NEVER ask for.
I always thought that it was just wrong and materialistic to do such a thing.
Now I am in their shoes. And I see it has nothing to do with materialism.
Don't get me wrong, I like my ring. When my husband and I were talking about maybe getting engaged I told him I liked the 3 Stone Emerald Cut Rings. That's what he gave me.
But now, I think my tastes have changed. I really want a bypass diamond ring. I know it bothers him that I want to upgrade and if we ever did I know it would be sad to trade in my ring but the trade-in value of my current ring would be half the price of the new ring. Basically, I would be getting a $5,000 ring for $2,500.
I know I shouldn't be like this, but I really want a new one.
On a side note, the top band I used to have 2 of but we traded one in to upgrade my bottom band. I love, Love, LOVE my bottom band. It's a 2 carat Eternity Band where the diamonds go all the way around. I just love it! This was an anniversary present for our 4th Anniversary!

Circa: 1980. Period: 20th Century. A lovely simple ring with a variety of sapphires in different pinks, including the rare orange Padparadscha sapphire, and also diamonds.
The gemstones are set into a 18 karat white gold band, or eternity band. This stunning ring is adorned with square cut sapphires that sit in a square-shaped setting, and round brilliant cut diamonds that sit in a diamond shaped setting. There is some lovely bright cut detailing along the setting of the gemstones. The gems are clear and the nice variation of pink to salmon to orange sapphires, all natural gemstones, which make this a rare and more desirable, more unique ring. The Padparadscha sapphire is also one of the most sought after and expensive gems in the world. The eternity band is a ring size of 5-1/2. The ring is marked 18K on the interior of the band.
