Bayesian phylogenetic analysis and divergence time estimation in BEAST 1.7.1 [45] using the complete mitochondrial DNA cytochrome b gene.We used four independent fossil calibration points (indicated as orange bars). Numbers at nodes represent estimates of divergence times with highest posterior probability, while bars around each divergence time estimate represent 95% highest posterior density of the estimate.

Aerial Mapping,Drone Survey generated using photogrammetry provides a cost-effective method of establishing an accurate digital base for such things as urban planning, terrain analysis and forest management. Photogrammetry can be used for landfill or gravel pit monitoring, determining the location of ore bodies or determining proposed locations for utilities, such as pipelines and transmission lines.

A scanned photo of a young Molly and her brother.
Molly had a rough start in life and by my estimations, she had used up two of her nine lives by the time she was six weeks old.
I was the "midwife" at her birth. She was born wriggly and moving in her amniotic sac which is the way most kittens arrive. But Molly's mother was busy cutting the cord and didn't remove the sac. Suddenly Molly stopped moving. It was time for me to intervene. When I removed Molly from her sac, she was completely floppy and though I worked for a minute or so, I thought she was gone.
But suddenly she jumped. She was back.
Coccidia almost took her when she was six weeks old. She developed severe diarrhea and dehydration and lost 25% of her body weight. She was as limp as a dishrag. I spent one night giving her electrolyte solution, drop by drop into her mouth. She was too tired to open her eyes. But in the morning I had to chase her down the hall.
The expression, " Clubable ", might seem like a mugger's estimation of potential victim, but in the present case we look back to Samuel Johnson's application of the term as a measure of an individual's fitness to belong within a select membership. With this in mind we pulled confidently up to the Poinsett Club in Greenville, SC, expecting an appropriate welcome.
We roused not even the parking valet. We wondered if the domination of the parking lot by Mercedes, Saab and BMW had displaced us. We suspected that it had something to do with regional discrimination. We guessed that Windveil Blue was not their favorite color.
We never imagined that the Poinsett did NOT have a reciprocal with JACO'S SPIT AND ARGUE Club ? Go figure !
"Acrocorinth (Greek: Ακροκόρινθος), 'Upper Corinth', the acropolis of ancient Corinth, is a monolithic rock overseeing the ancient city of Corinth, Greece. 'It is the most impressive of the acropoleis of mainland Greece,' in the estimation of George Forrest. Acrocorinth was continuously occupied from archaic times to the early 19th century. Along with Demetrias and Chalcis, the Acrocorinth during the Hellenistic period formed one of the so-called 'Fetters of Greece' – three fortresses garrisoned by the Macedonians to secure their control of the Greek city-states. The city's archaic acropolis, already an easily defensible position due to its geomorphology, was further heavily fortified during the Byzantine Empire as it became the seat of the strategos of the thema of Hellas and later of the Peloponnese. It was defended against the Crusaders for three years by Leo Sgouros.
"Afterwards it became a fortress of the Frankish Principality of Achaea, the Venetians and the Ottoman Turks. With its secure water supply, Acrocorinth's fortress was used as the last line of defence in southern Greece because it commanded the Isthmus of Corinth, repelling foes from entry into the Peloponnese peninsula. Three circuit walls formed the man-made defence of the hill. The highest peak on the site was home to a temple to Aphrodite which was converted to a church, and then became a mosque. The American School's Corinth Excavations began excavations on it in 1929. Currently, Acrocorinth is one of the most important medieval castle sites of Greece.
"In a Corinthian myth related in the 2nd century CE to Pausanias, Briareus, one of the Hecatonchires, was the arbitrator in a dispute between Poseidon and Helios, between the sea and the sun: his verdict was that the Isthmus of Corinth belonged to Poseidon and the acropolis of Corinth (Acrocorinth) to Helios."
