Eros House, Catford
Designed in a brutalist style by architects Owen Luder and completed in 1962.
The building was originally created for use as offices but has since been converted into flats.

Felt very inspired at "The Looking Glass" sim today. I had been working on a bit of a fae look for about a week and I think after spending time there I just decided to play around on the sim. It was loverly. I highly recommend it and the art gallery could be a trip itself.

Psique era la hija más hermosa de un ignoto rey de Anatolia. Su belleza era tal que incluso despertó los celos de Afrodita, la diosa del amor, quien envió a su propio hijo, Eros, para que la perforase con una flecha envenenada que la condenaría a enamorarse del hombre más terrible y cruel que encontrase.
No obstante, cuando Eros advirtió la belleza de Psique, arrojó la flecha al mar y raptó a la joven mientras dormía, llevándola a las doradas estancias del Olimpo.
Among Kraków’s most well-known landmarks, this sculpture in the western corner of the market square is a popular meeting place and at some point serves as a photographic backdrop for almost every tourist who visits the city.
Affectionately referred to as ‘The Head’, the bronze body part’s official title is ‘Eros Bendato’ (Eros Bound) and is the work of Polish artist Igor Mitoraj (1944 - 2014).
A student of Tadeusz Kantor at the Kraków School of Art, an exhibition of 14 of Mitoraj’s monumental works dressed the Rynek from Oct 17, 2003 to Jan 25, 2004, during which the artist gifted this work to the city, sparking controversy over what to do with it. Initially, the sculpture was designated for the square in front of Galeria Krakowska, but the artist was indignant about having his work in front of a commercial building.
Despite protest from historians and many locals, the sculpture eventually found its current place near the Town Hall Tower, where it has become an unexpected tourist attraction.

I thought I would post a photo of a small portion of my paint stash. In order to get loose, you gotta have the juice.
This piece was like a bad tattoo cover up. Hence the reason for the giant Black bubbles around the piece. I was hooked up with this wall by the Homeboy Paid 4. It was behind this small business off Lake street and the owner was like I don't care what you paint, just go over that shit (local gang Graff). So, I was like cool. I spent a few hours on it and was just praying I wouldn't have gotten rolled on by the boys in blue, even though it was a legal wall, the business owners had left for the day and it was getting dark. There pretty much was no escape and it wasn't in the best neighborhood. Everything turned out cool except the fact that I never got the chance to get a good clear day photo. So if anyone has one, please send it my way.
