My new 85mm f1.8 lens, on the 5D. I love this bokeh.
She was sitting on a huge, fallen tree about eleven feet off the ground. I had my 13 foot stand maxed out with a softbox on it, AB800 at low power.
how are the colors to everyone? I have a new monitor, I've tried spyder3 with it, but it still seems odd sometimes.
I could have done more PP work on her, her face, etc... but I didn't want to, so I didn't. I might in the final image I send or print, but only just a tinnnny bit.

I find myself coming back more and more to the shots that I have done in this lighting style, much more so than the "strobist" style. I like them more. I want to do more of this style, I think, but still while keeping an edge. We'll see if I can do that.
Also planning out my next lens purchase. Probably won't be until December or so, but I've been debating between the 135mm L, the 85mm L, and the 45mm TS. Your thoughts? Probably won't get the 5D mark II until March-may of next year.
It's basically a beauty dish above her a little bit and in front of her, with a soft box behind her to the right. The soft box didn't have a huge impact on the lighting.
