While traveling to the Stokksnes peninsula located in Southern Iceland, we came upon this impressive mountain emphasized by steep slopes and a widest spectrum of natural colors.

Too many clouds for a classic sunset, but in the blue hour, the Marmolada massif dressed itself with some purple clouds, can't imagine something more epic. Or I can?
...is what you think, when the peaks peeping out of the clouds & mist. This should be one of the "Bullenköpfe" near the "Tre Cime di Lavaredo".

Was another chance at a pretty sunset this cold evening so headed down to my sister's house along Middle River. With temperatures below freezing, by the time I finished taking photos for around 15 minutes, my hands were quite cold ... but it was worth it.
While this sunset was not as 'epic' as the sunset on December 7th, it was still very pretty. This capture was taken as the sunset ended, I took this before heading back inside to visit with my sister for a few minutes. Had to warm my frozen hands up petting her dogs who were very excited to see me there as well ;)

While making a rare weekend daylight run back from Howell OSTN comes back north with a nice 5-unit lash up seen nowhere else. The cool thing with these GP35 is they’re riding on old Alco trucks from the days they were built for the Ann Arbor.

Alnwick is a market town in Northumberland, England, of which it is the traditional county town.
This is an old image of mine from 2008. If any of you read photography magazines like Photo Plus or Digital camera you might see photos from Photocrowd www.photocrowd.com/photos/glorious-resurrection-4649285.0...
They do competitions which I sometimes enter if I have a suitable image, you don`t win anything but a little satisfaction. The image is a sunrise on my local beach at low tide and so lucky to have a walker and his dogs for scale .
I went out for sunrise this morning up in the hills but have yet to edit one , it was one of those mornings when the wind was a pain with camera on tripod you needed the strap round your neck to stop it being blown over .
