He loves it!
He is a Lagotto Romagnolo dog, a water dog.
This is the only breed of dog that is officially recognized as specialized in truffle hunting.
The kitties love the warm months as much as we do. Having the patio door open to watch birds and listen to their morning chorus is better than any TV show!

The twins Marcus and EJ Stricklands are fairly well known in the jazz world. Marcus play sax, so he is up front and better known. EJ (Enoch Jamal) came to Montreal without his brother, but with another excellent saxophonist Lakecia Benjamin.
EJ plays with the best in the jazz world. While still a student, he played with Wynton Marsalis , Abbey Lincoln , Christian McBride , Herbie Hancock and Dianne Reeves. He became known in the groups of Ravi Coltrane, Marcus Strickland (nepotism ;-) and Russell Malone. Strickland stayed well in the background in this concert giving the limelight to the flashy Lakecia Benjamin. Strangely enough, I hear his name now more often on the radio. Elias Bailey - bass and Oscar Perez - piano completed the band.

Ivar will watch birds, critters, and blowing leaves out of the windows for hours every day. We’ll often hear him chirping in excitement, a sound I adore!

So I ended up in Frankfurt at the Zoo with some visitors.
Actually my opinion on keeping animals in zoos is divided. While on the one hand I dislike the thought of keeping animals captive I highly regard for example the efforts on conservations and like how they get (young) people excited for nature.
The old rhino house might be fully functional however it doesn't look that nice from the inside but has very much a look mixed from an old bathroom and a prison.
While the rhino was calmly eating a lot of the kids did not seem to be that interessted and instead used the handrail for sports.
