Christian Lacroix a passé son enfance en allant jouer dans les ruines de l'abbaye de Montmajour avec les gamins du pays. En 2013, il a été invité à s'emparer de cette magnifique abbaye pour l'habiter avec d'autres artistes… dont il a distribué les œuvres en redessinant l'espace.
Dans le déambulatoire éclairé par des meurtrières, les coupes translucides de Robert Wilson, alignées sur le bois brut.....

Christian Lacroix spent his childhood by going to play in the ruins of the Abbey of Montmajour with the kids of the country. In 2013, he was invited to seize this magnificent abbey to live in it with other artists whose works he distributed by redrawing the space.
In the ambulatory enlightened by notches, Robert Wilson's translucent cups, aligned on the raw wood.....
Wood Anemones are now gently rising on the forest floor. Didn't bring my camera on todays walk, so here's one from last year.

I love flowers in general, and they are a constant presence in most photos of my flickr stream.
Similar to animals, which I also love, I am always curious to know the symbolic meanings behind each one.
Lotuses are not only some of the most beautiful flowers that exist, but they are also associated with very special symbolic meanings, such as, innocence, purity, inner strength and tranquillity. It also represents spiritual enlightenment (happening like the blossoming one petal at a time), detachment, and new beginnings.

Some super refraction (thanks for the correction MG! :) going on with this spider web today. Had to snap it and hike the contrast show it off. The colour mixes are inspiring, I'd like to make my colouring in drawings have this kind of flare.
