Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, England. Built 1705-1722 originally for John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough, as reward for military activities including the Battle of Blenheim. Birthplace in 1874 of Winston Churchill.
Christopher Wren was in the running to be architect but the post was given to John Vanbrugh who was assisted by Hawksmoor. The building is in the ‘English Baroque’ style that paralleled the perhaps more exuberant Continental Baroque. English baroque was soon unfashionable and replaced by the restraint of the Georgian buildings of Edinburgh and Bath.
So many designers have been generous in giving such lovely group gifts lately....Hisa has done just that as well with a beautiful new English Garden Shed...equipped with roses and bushes so you can pretty much set it down and be done! Be sure to wear your group tag to grab the gift..I've paired it with La maisonette D'Aurora by Hisa as well so you can see how perfectly they fit together...Pictured:

Les vistes des d'Horta de Sant Joan son impressionants, en especial cap a llevant, amb els cingles dels Ports de Tortosa. Però entre totes destaca la Muntanya de Santa Bàrbara (751 m.), amb l'antic convent de Sant Salvador d'Horta als seus peus.

The views from Horta de Sant Joan are impressive, especially towards the east, with the Ports de Tortosa cliffs. But among them all, the Muntanya de Santa Bárbara (751 m,) stands out, with the old convent of Sant Salvador d'Horta at its feet.

The best way to manage the heath at Kinver Edge sensitively is to graze it with cattle. The National Trust use a herd of English Longhorn cows, an ancient breed, who crush the bracken, chomp on bramble and nibble leaves and grass. Their trampling creates bare sandy areas that bees nest in and releases heather seeds. By roaming around they naturally create a ‘mosaic’ of different habitats across the landscape, which is ideal for wildlife.

The main differences between a Spanish bluebell and an English bluebell are: On the Spanish flower, the bells are all around the stem, not just on one side, which gives the English bluebell its drooping stature. The leaves are wider and bigger. The petals of each bell open wider and flare at the ends rather than curl.
English colonists in the New world gave the American Robin its name because it reminded them of England’s common robin – both birds have red breasts.
The American Robin is a thrush-sized bird that feeds mostly on the ground. They eat fruit, insects, earthworms, and snails.
American Robins are common winter visitors to Florida. Between October and April you can hear their characteristic chattering vocalizations as they gather in flocks around fruit trees and along roadsides. In spring, most robins migrate north to breed, but a few have recently begun to nest in north and central Florida.
I found this one along Lake Cypress Boat Ramp Road in Osceola County, Florida.
