One of the goals of Arizona Public Service's energy storage pilot is to test the technology with APS's existing substation equipment.

There are 24 battery cells within each module, 29 modules per cabinet and 16 cabinets that make up Arizona Public Service’s energy storage system. That is a total of 10,752 battery cells within the system.

An innovative, smart way of projection. We used energy mainly powered by regenerative energy storage. The energy was generated by a vertical wind turbine and used for the performance by a new innovative CO2 free energy storage.

Synchronised video and light performance by future:headz on three significant buildings in Munich. Sustainable content presents future solutions and a path to new horizons.

Engineers at the University of California San Diego have developed new electrolytes that enable lithium batteries to run at temperatures as low as -60 degrees Celsius with excellent performance -- in comparison, today's lithium-ion batteries stop working at -20 degrees Celsius. The new electrolytes also enable electrochemical capacitors to run as cold as -80 degrees Celsius -- their current limit is -40 degrees Celsius.
