Arkadia (Polish pronunciation: [arˈkadja]) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Nieborów, within Łowicz County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland. It lies approximately 6 km east of Łowicz and 50 km north-east of the regional capital Łódź.
The village has an approximate population of 250. Arkadia is famous for its English Garden Park set up by Helena Radziwiłł in 1779 with the designers Szymon Bogumil Zug and Henryk Ittar.
In the 70s of the 18th century a new style in gardening called English style appeared in Poland. It originated at the beginning of the century in England and then was gradually spreading across the other European countries. The English style definitely opposed artificiality and regularity of baroque gardens. It promoted unrestricted and emotional compositions of sentimental or symbolic forms and architectural constructions referring to ancient and medieval works of arts as well as to the everyday life in the country, often also to the overseas exotic forms. The style had been transformed together with philosophic, ideological and esthetical changes of the epoch from sentimental forms to the vision of romantic garden.

Happy Stories Under One Umbrella
Rainy days by the sea carry a special, quiet nostalgia, but they also hide the purest, warmest family joy. This frame, captured on the waterfront in Šilo, celebrates childhood and the unbreakable bonds passed down through generations in the very same place. Under the shelter of a single colorful umbrella, two generations huddle together, observing the coast and learning that sun always follows the rain. The vintage manual lens beautifully softened the gloomy clouds in the background, transforming the wet pier and its reflections into a warm family sanctuary. It is a story of belonging, of happy steps on wet stone, and the anticipation of those sunny beach days yet to come.

Vesele priče pod jednim kišobranom
Kišni dani uz more nose neku posebnu, tihu sjetu, ali u njima se krije i ona najčišća, najtoplija obiteljska radost. Ovaj kadar, snimljen na rivi u Šilu, slavi djetinjstvo i neraskidive veze koje se prenose s koljena na koljeno u istome mjestu. Pod okriljem jednog šarenog kišobrana, dvije generacije stisnule su se zajedno, promatrajući obalu i učeći da nakon svake kiše dolazi sunce. Stari manualni objektiv predivno je omekšao tmurne oblake u pozadini, pretvarajući mokru rivu i bljesak u betonu u toplo obiteljsko utočište. To je priča o pripadanju prostoru, o sretnim koracima po mokrom kamenu i iščekivanju onih sunčanih dana za kupanje koji tek dolaze.
