HES - New Delhi, The Home Electronics Show is India's largest consumer technology tradeshow. It features hundreds of exhibitors, including companies who manufacture products or provide services for the audio, video, home appliances, digital imaging, home theater, wireless and gaming markets.

This teapot was generated with a 50,000,000 watt laser that focuses at different points in space and basically turns the air to plasma. The displayers of this tech were confident that something similar to this would be the future of true 3d displays.

I didn't have much of a chance to really explore Emerging Technologies this year, but I made sure to stop by the E Ink display, because I'm such a fan. E Ink's electrophoretic displays (EPDs) are the closest thing to electronic paper I've ever seen. My previous experience with E Ink's work was through the Sony Reader, which I first saw at CES in 2006. These units are pretty much the same thing.
