Frog in the Canal, Wildwood Lake, Harrisburg, PA. I know I said no more frog pics, but I just really liked the water in this shot. The frog just happened to get in the way! (that's my story...)
Both the emerald cross and ring were found in a pewter box. Although the cross’ provenance is not known, it may be speculated that it was going to be a gift for Pope Gregory XV. Inscribed on the top of the pewter box were the initials “ABL,” perhaps for Gregory’s given name, Alessandro Boncompagni Ludovisi.
The cross is made of 18 carat gold and set with seven high-quality emeralds from Columbia’s famous Muzo mine. The reverse is inscribed with representations of the Virgin Mary and child, and St. Anthony of Padua, an emblem for the Franciscan Order, and ironically, the patron saint of lost things.

I still don't feel like it's over. Maybe because it all happened without me having to do anything. There was nothing that happened except a phone call to tell me it was done. But finally that stage of my life is over. All the worry is done. I have nothing I need to worry about now. I am safe, secure, happy and loved and the bad season of my life has ended. I feel...lost somehow. I've been waiting for something for so long that now I don't know what to do not having to wait, to worry, to fear the unknown.
I need to recondition myself though now, not to worry so much. I worry about everything and it's not healthy. I have to learn to let go and letting go, self esteem, and self confidence are the hardest things to have to build up and develop as an adult. I don't even know where to start. I say I'm sorry entirely too much. I need to remove the word "sorry" from my vocabulary unless it's absolutely entirely warranted. Yeah...I'll work on that, but good luck.
The good news is I don't think I have a single tear left in my body. I think I spent them all over the past year and a half and it's going to take a while to get them built back up. I say that because the last few times I thought I'd cry, I didn't. Cheers to me.
So, deep breaths and lets move along now.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I can't thank my family for their love and support enough, my friends for their love and support and of course my sweet G. I don't think I would have made it through without him and I applaud him for putting up with me through all of this and I am beyond thankful that he stuck with me, by my side through all of this, that he held me while I cried and that he let it go when I got angry and that he made me laugh when I needed it the most. He is a wonderful man, without a doubt the best thing to ever happen to me, and I feel truly lucky to have him as a part of my life, by my side. He makes me happy, he makes me complete. He makes my soul happy.
And now I have the rest of my life to BE happy. To do what I want, when I want and how I want to do it, with the person I love the most by my side and my family nearby. So, the end has come and gone. I've moved on to the next book and I'm gonna try to make this one absolutely spectacular.
