What is Time-Lapsed Embyo Imaging?
Time-lapse embryo imaging is a technique used in the field of assisted reproductive technology (ART) to monitor the development of embryos in vitro. In traditional methods, embryos are periodically removed from the incubator for observation under a microscope, which can disrupt the stable culture environment. Time-lapse imaging, on the other hand, involves capturing continuous images of developing embryos at regular intervals without having to remove them from the controlled incubation environment.
