In 1965, the government of Kuwait commissioned the Swedish engineering company of VBB (since 1997 Sweco) to develop and implement a plan for a modern water-supply system for Kuwait City. The company built five groups of water towers, 31 in total, designed by its chief architect Sune Lindström, called "the mushroom towers".

For a sixth site, the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmed, wanted a more spectacular design. This last group, known as Kuwait Towers, consists of three towers, two of which also serve as water towers. Water from the Desalination facility is pumped up to the tower.

These thirty-three towers have together a standard capacity of 102,000 cubic meters of water. "The Water Towers" (The Kuwait Tower and the Kuwait Water Towers) were awarded the Aga Khan Award for Architecture (1980)

The "Lock Step" ( The Rockefeller Foundation ) outlines a scenario of authoritarian control in the wake of a hypothetical novel influenza pandemic similar to COVID-19.(anno 2010)

We concluderen daarom: Samen zweren is pas fijn!

Researcher and author Niki Friedrich Raapana accidentally stumbled into a pilot programme of the UN's ultimate agenda back in 1999, in Seattle. In her search for answers she found that the consortium of players, stakeholders and prime movers had one thing in common: jargon !

e.g. 'Sustainable Development' is a term we are all familiar with by now and there are many others. Tracing the terminology she was able to find an entire system which had infiltrated our governments and was rewriting state policies and objectives. The European Union was founded upon these principles. Anyone notice what happened to the once nation states that make up the EU? (They're all dead.)

Tracing the terminology to find an entire system which had infiltrated our governments and was rewriting state policies and objectives. Civil and individual rights and freedoms are abolished and the life becomes micromanaged.

Jan Theuninck has been painting the evolution of Western totalitarianism for 20 years - he saw the evolution within the political spectrum where the socialist parties were lost (Fagospatose, 2001) in the Third Way (The third way is no way, 2004) movement of Clinton , Blair and Schröder with which they gave a face to communitarianism of the New World Order. He has often compared the latter to a new kind of National Socialism. His attention has always been fixed thanks to the more than 50 years of misery with blackmail games of the services and torture practices with chemical and energy weapons (Beyond the limit, 2001, Rinascimento, 2009, The culture of learned helplessness, 2011, Neostasi, 2012, Derailed system , 2012, The banality of Evil, 2013, Zersetzung, 2014, ils nous tiennent, 2015, Submission, 2015, Threat, 2016, Utopia, 2016, Conformity, 2017, Brainwashing, 2018, Warnung, 2019, Dein Kampf, 2019, Censorship, 2020, Post-truth society, 2020 and in 2021: Political Pandemic, New World Order, The Great Reset, Angel Vaccine, Aryan Corona Passport, Cytokine Storm, Back from never been away, Sustainable Dictatorship.

(In 2014 he already painted Virus Attack without believing that this would become a climax of the Davos counter-revolution years later)

The Haflinger, also known as the Avelignese, is a breed of horse developed in Austria and northern Italy (namely the South Tyrol region) during the late 19th century. Haflinger horses are relatively small, are always chestnut in color, have distinctive gaits described as energetic but smooth, and are well-muscled yet elegant. The breed traces its ancestry to the Middle Ages; there are several theories for its origin. Haflingers, developed for use in mountainous terrain, are known for their hardiness.

I Knew I Had Seen That Tree Before......

Louys Elsevier or Lodewijk Elzevier was a Dutch publisher of European significance. He is the ancestor of the Elsevier family.

Elsevier, son of Hans Helschevier, started in 1560 as a bookbinder in the printing house of Christoffel Plantin in Antwerp. Because of the persecution of Protestantism, he fled to Liège in 1567, before 1570 to Wesel and before 1575 to Dowaai. Before 1580 he established himself as a bookseller and publisher in Leiden. There he published his first book in 1583. His descendants continued his business until 1791. Influential scientific works appeared at the publishing house and later printing house. Unlike other publishers who strived for attractive printed matter, Elsevier emphasized the reliability and legibility of the books. Expenses were smaller with narrow margins. Most of the books were in Latin. One of his publications was the Discorsi e dimostrazioni matematiche intorno a due nuove scienze attinenti alla meccanica e ai moti locali, Galileo's last and perhaps most influential book. His sons Matthijs and Bonaventura Elsevier and grandson Abraham Elsevier expanded the publishing house. Son Joost became a bookseller in Utrecht.

There were two large Christian complexes in the town of Timgad, both of which contained a baptistery, one associated with the Donatist sect, and the other which may have belonged to the Catholic church. The Donatist cathedral baptistery (4th century CE) has a hexagonal, 3-step immersion baptismal font richly decorated with mosaics.

Founded by Trajan in AD 100 as a colony for army veterans, the Colonia Marciana Traiana Thamugadi, and built by soldiers stationed at Lambaesis. Although its plan is overwhelmingly military, there is little doubt that Thamugadi was intended to be a town, not a military base. Its square shape comprises a grid of 111 blocks, each 20 sq. m; most were subdivided into properties for the individual settlers, while a good number were given over to public buildings. Following a Byzantine period, it was sacked by the Berbers in the 7th century and abandoned. The encroachment of the Sahara on the ruins was ironically the principal reason why the town is so well preserved. Because no new settlements were founded on the site after the 7th century, the town was partially preserved under sand up to a depth of approximately one meter until it was excavated in 1881. Designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982.

The Pyramid of Khafre or of Chephren (Arabic: هرم خفرع‎, romanized: haram ḵafraʿ, IPA: [haram xafraʕ]) is the second-tallest and second-largest of the Ancient Egyptian Pyramids of Giza and the tomb of the Fourth-Dynasty pharaoh Khafre (Chefren), who ruled from c. 2558 to 2532 BC.

The pyramid has a base length of 215.5 m (706 ft) and rises up to a height of 136.4 metres (448 ft). It is made of limestone blocks weighing more than 2 tons each. The slope of the pyramid rises at a 53° 13' angle, steeper than its neighbor, the Pyramid of Khufu, which has an angle of 51°50'24". Khafre's pyramid sits on bedrock 10 m (33 ft) higher than Khufu's pyramid, which makes it appear to be taller.

The pyramid was likely opened and robbed during the First Intermediate Period. During the Nineteenth Dynasty, the overseer of temple construction took casing stones to build a temple in Heliopolis on Ramesses II's orders.

Arab historian Ibn Abd al-Salam recorded that the pyramid was opened in 1372 AD. On the wall of the burial chamber, there is an Arabic graffito that probably dates from the same time.

It is not known when the rest of the casing stones were robbed; they were presumably still in place by 1646, when John Greaves, professor of Astronomy at the University of Oxford in his Pyramidographia, wrote that, while its stones weren't as large or as regularly laid as in Khufu's, the surface was smooth and even free of breaches of inequalities, except on the south.

The pyramid was first explored in modern times by Giovanni Belzoni on March 2, 1818, when the original entrance was found on the north side. Belzoni had hopes of finding an intact burial but the chamber was empty except for an open sarcophagus and its broken lid on the floor.

The first complete exploration was conducted by John Perring in 1837. In 1853, Auguste Mariette partially excavated Khafre's valley temple, and, in 1858, while completing its clearance, he managed to discover a diorite statue of Khafre.

Like the Great Pyramid, a rock outcropping was used in the core. Due to the slope of the plateau, the northwest corner was cut 10 m (33 ft) out of the rock subsoil and the southeast corner is built up.

The pyramid is built of horizontal courses. The stones used at the bottom are very large, but as the pyramid rises, the stones become smaller, becoming only 50 cm (20 in) thick at the apex. The courses are rough and irregular for the first half of its height but a narrow band of regular masonry is clear in the midsection of the pyramid. At the northwest corner of the pyramid, the bedrock was fashioned into steps. Casing stones cover the top third of the pyramid, but the pyramidion and part of the apex are missing.

The bottom course of casing stones was made out of pink granite but the remainder of the pyramid was cased in Tura Limestone. Close examination reveals that the corner edges of remaining casing stones are not completely straight, but are staggered by a few millimeters. One theory is that this is due to settling from seismic activity. An alternative theory postulates that the slope on the blocks was cut to shape before being placed due to the limited working space towards the top of the pyramid (Wikipedia).
