Viewed from the mediaeval Place Mill Bridge.
Place Mill is a Grade II listed Anglo-Saxon watermill located a short distance to the south of the Priory on Christchurch Quay. It is mentioned in the Domesday Book and features a mediaeval stone base underneath red brickwork. The mill belonged to the Priory but stopped working in 1908 and stood derelict until purchased by the council and restored in 1981. It is unique in that it takes water from one river (the Avon) and spills it into a second river (the Stour). A millstream is supplied from the Royalty Fisheries near to the Electricity Museum behind Bargates, and flows for nearly 0.5 miles (0.80 km) to the mill between the Avon and the Priory grounds before joining the River Stour. A mediaeval Grade II listed bridge known as the Place Mill Bridge crosses the millstream nearby.

If it seems that I have ignored you, I have not. My Flickr is not working great or fast at all. I will by pass the panda contest as a free year of pro that works like this is not acceptable in my mind.
I just renewed and this leaves me totally dismayed.

I tweaked the windlight settings at Furillen. There is now a day cycle. Most of the time you won't notice all that much difference. But if you do notice and have any feedback, please let me know.
There are now more than 350 visitors to the sim each day, a level of interest that has been helped by the great pictures being posted in this group. Thanks to everyone for joining in.

Photographed during Expo Keerpunt 2020 (Expo Turning Point), an initiative by De WAR, the Amersfoort based breeding ground for research an innovation, now based in this former factory.
Feuchter, kalter Novembernebel aber dennoch ein ein leicht orangefarbener Sonnenuntergang.Ohne Strom könnten wir die Fotos auf Flickr gar nicht ansehen. Diese Leitungen(oder einige davon) werden den, durch Windkraft erzeugten, Strom ganz bis nach Bayern leiten.
Humid, cold November fog, but still a slightly orange sunset. Without electricity, we wouldn't be able to see the photos on Flickr. These power lines (or some of them) will carry the electricity,generated by wind power, all the way to Bavaria.
