Stand behind the yellow line ...
You wanna know about efficiency - China Railways (and Airlines) can teach one a lot.
The 1st high-speed line in China was built in 2007. A mere 6 years later, as of 2013, China had converted 11, 028 of its total 103,144 km (64,091 mi) of railways to HSR, now the longest HSR network in the world. In comparison, the US has an HSR network of only 734 km ...the plan is to expand the network to 270,000 km (170,000 mi) by 2050.
Rail traveling across this country these last 9 years I have been blessed with seeing all this at first hand: literally THOUSANDS of tunnels being moled through mile-high mountains, HUNDREDS of mile-long bridges being built across lakes and valleys right now - it really, really is bloody impressive stuff.

HELP FROM AFAR: THE POWER OF REMOTE HEALTHCARE
Intervention Track Hosted By: Insigniam
Mobile technology is enabling doctors and patients to meet anytime and anywhere. Thanks to advances in telemedicine, physicians—even psychiatrists—can now monitor patients and do the kind of detailed patient workups and counseling that had once been possible only in an in-person visit. In theory, it’s easier for patients, it’s cheaper for healthcare systems, and the results (in early testing) seem just as good. So what’s stopping us from making remote healthcare the norm, especially for those with chronic diseases who need frequent monitoring? And how can other Uber-like platforms (doctors on demand) improve cost, efficiency, and the quality of care as well?

Rwanda’s Ministry of Environment, UN Environment through the Ozone Secretariat and United for Efficiency, and the Kigali Cooling Efficiency Program have hosted a group of environmental experts, philanthropists, business leaders, international NGOs and government representatives to mark the adoption of the Amendment and strategies to ensure its long term success. The event took place on 28 January 2019 at the Marriott Hotel, Kigali. The event recognised the work Rwanda has done to meet its obligations under the Kigali Amendment. These efforts, which have been possible thanks to the Kigali Cooling Efficiency Program and UN Environment's United for Efficiency, include conducting a market assessment, developing a national cooling strategy and minimum energy efficiency standards, and creating financial tools to support businesses to invest in efficient cooling.

Well this is efficiency for you, not only does the train pull in and leave on time, but they pull in at the exact location for us dumb commuters... a wonder for us not so civilised public transport commuters who have to worry if the train will arrive at all and somewhere near the time, without worrying about where it will stop..

A high-speed tangential belt, also known as a polyamide-based high-speed drive belt, is a new type of flat belt, with high strength nylon core as the skeleton material. and as the tensile layer, and with high wear-resistant synthetic rubber as the surface friction layer. Using mature joint technology, so the operation is relatively stable. It is widely used in precision machine tools and high-speed transmission machinery.
Properties Of High-Efficiency Tangential Belt
High efficiency and low elongation
High fatigue resistance and flexibility
Good anti-static property
