The Eem is a river in the north of the province of Utrecht. The Eem starts in Amersfoort, has a length of about 18 kilometers and flows into the Eemmeer.
The Eem is sometimes called the longest river in the Netherlands, since the Eem is the only river that both springs and flows in the Netherlands

The pumping station Zeldert is a former steam pumping station in the Eem Valley. The pumping station is located on the municipal border of Baarn with Amersfoort. It was built as a steam pumping station in 1896, after it was washed away at a dyke breach. In 1926 the steam pumping station was replaced by an electric pumping station.
Mittwoch maritim - Das Stückgut-Frachtschiff "EEMS DUBLIN" steuert von Aberdeen (UK) kommend den Rostocker Seekanal an. Das 108 Meter lange Schiff wurde 2012 in Dienst gestellt und fährt unter der Flagge der Niederlande. Aktuell (24.03.2021) liegt die "EEMS DUBLIN" in der Biskaya vor La Rochelle (Frankreich) vor Anker.

XVIII éeme siécle ", está ubicada exactamente al pie de la empinada escalera que accede a la Basílica del Sacre Coeur, en el barrio de Montmatre. Es replica de los carruseles italianos del siglo XVIII, bellísimo, suntuoso , colorido, con su escalera central y sus figuras bellamente plicromadas.
La palabra Carrusel tiene sus orígenes en el idioma italiano Garosello, y en español Carosela que significa
"Primera batalla". Así se llamaba un ejercicio de entrenamiento para combate que practicaban los turcos y los árabes allá por el año 1100, y que reforzaba la preparación de los jinetes para la batalla al atacar con espadas de madera a muñecos que representaban al enemigo. Igual que ahora eran caballos de madera suspendidos de vigas que a su vez ,eran soportadas por una columna central. La idea es llevada por los cruzados, a los reyes y nobles, quienes lo pusieron en práctica y mantuvieron en secreto dentro de los castillos para entrenamiento de sus jinetes.

Vornehmlich werden die Rangierlokomotiven der Serie Eem 923 im leichten Zustell- und Rangierdienst eingesetzt; dank der Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 120 km/h können die Rangierlokomotiven aber auch im leichten Streckeneinsatz verwendet werden. Die Auslieferung der 30 Fahrzeuge erfolgte in den Jahren 2012/13. Die erste Lokomotive wurde am 8. März 2012 in Betrieb genommen (Quelle: wikipedia)
Hier ist die Eem 923 030 "Chestenberg" mit einem leichten Güterzug aus der Westschweiz bei Ligerz unterwegs in Richtung Biel. Der Zug musste eine Kreuzung abwarten und beschleunigt nun über die Schutzweiche in den Einspurabschnitt Ligerz - Twann.

Museum Flehite is the historical museum of Amersfoort and Eemland in the Netherlands. The museum was founded in 1880 by the "Oudheidkundige Vereniging Flehite" (Archeological Association Flehite) (1878). In 1890, the museum moved to the first of the current three-part building on the Breestraat (Breestreet) in Amersfoort.

Donnerstag maritim – Der kleine Küstenfrachter „EEMS TRANSPORTER“ läuft den Rostocker Seekanal an. Der 90 Meter lange „EEMS TRANSPORTER“ wurde 2006 in Dienst gestellt und fährt unter der Flagge der Niederlande.
Aktuell (02.03.2023 07.00) ist das Frachtschiff in der Nordsee unterwegs und wird am 03.03.2023 um 21.00 Uhr in Montoir (Frankreich) erwartet.
