I created this image to show clients the difference between a raw file, a color corrected file, and a fully edited image.
I just happened to find this in Target last year. It was almost perfect--just needed a little sharpie editing...
The note inside to my punk rock boy quoted the song "99 Red Balloons" and said "To my apocalyptic valentine: Here's to our 99 dreams."
We're no longer together, but I'm still happy about this bit of editing. :)
I took this because i was originally taking photo's for my latest photography project and this was just a reject so edited it and ended up with something that looks like this.

Firstly i cropped the image so there was no dead space and it was just the pigeon. I then started off by messing around the magic wand on the tiles and decided to change them about and make them look more interesting. I kept changing each individual tile to a different gradient to make them look stand out. I then used the lasso tool around the pigeon and enhanced the pigeon by making the contrast better and then turning the brightness down a bit too.
Editing photos, watching Treme. I pointed my camera on me and just had it take some random captures through the my editing process.

My community is soccer. This is the varsity soccer and jv soccer bonding at sweet tomatoes. I choose this image since there was a lot going on. My friend Sydney was showing her tongue to me as I was taking the pictues as girls in the back were either talking to one another or using their phones. I brightened the picture a lot and played around with the levels and color balance. however, the lights in the background blew up, so I cropped those parts out. I had to choose between a bigger picture where the bright background was distracting, or a smaller, less distracting picture where the lighting was great.

Heading off the Wayzata Sub and onto it's own line toward Hopkins. It a very warm and hazy day in Minneapolis today - 76 degrees on March 16th! First time shooting this spot, and I'll be back here for sure! Edited
