In anticipation of our predicted cold and snow (FINALLY), I put some new seed into the feeder off the front deck. Almost on cue, sparrows arrived to hang out. Since today was my total lazy day to get all the little loose ends wrapped up, it made my picture a snap as well.

We are having an unusual winter - it was 53 yesterday and should be in single digits tonight with a stiff wind giving us a below zero wind chill in the morning. We are also supposed to get some snow (about a foot or so perhaps) overnight. Winter is finally coming to Syracuse(snow capital of New York) it seems. We just wrapped up the 2nd least snowiest December in history (about 6"). However, by Friday we will be back into the 40s.
