I was once again reminded this morning that even when beauty fades, even more beauty can be revealed! These are the spent crabapple blossoms of the blossoms that I missed while I was gone...
Undoubtedly the most beautiful bay of the Natural Park is formed by this virgin beach of fine golden sand dunes. Located in the area of Campillo del Genovés a valley with hardly any constructions and without paved roads that preserves beauty in its purest state.
What a beautiful morning! Was told about the view so got up early to see it.....so peaceful and quiet.
Morning light with a hint of mist in the valley bottom 08.05.2024 @ 05:15hrs Taken minutes before the heavy mist/fog rolled in from the South East and covered the scene completely
Early Morning Light...
The early bird gets the worm, if that is true i should go fishing... up at 4;55 am and out to capture this outstanding sunrise. i was gobsmacked by the beauty of the golden hue and baby blue clouds before my eyes.

This furry critter wrapped around the bird feeder early this morning may fit the strict definition of an "early bird" but it most assuredly is not a bird.

We're still unable to go far from home these days due to ongoing pandemic restrictions but with a few days of warm weather, we did some driveway camping to "get away from it all" - sort of! It was nice, actually, and so was waking up to the cacophony of bird song that starts just before dawn. This yellow warbler had a gentle melodic voice - compared to a nesting pair of robins that seem to SHOUT out their good morning song.

Hope you are all still feeling good? In these strange moments it’s easy to get wrapped up in all of it so I really hope that more colorful days loke this one are not that far away. As a matter of fact we are leaving now to enjoy another one of these. What do you think?

Woke up one whimsical magic morning......nothing seemed the same until others awoke....was it a dream?

Just starting to head out, it's lightly raining, but feeling very optimistic, slept well and have a good audio book playing to entertain my mind and help the miles speed away. A good start!
as the sun peeks through a slender gap between the age-old edifices of valencia, it orchestrates the day's first spectacle. a street lamp, still lit as a lingering sentinel of the night, is caught in a stark burst of dawn. its shadow, a crisp, dark echo on the sun-washed wall, tells of the city's awakening. the man, emerging from the architecture's embrace, walks alongside his own elongated silhouette, a fleeting companion in the dance of light. this moment, a brief intersection of past and daybreak, invites contemplation of the day's nascent potential.
Took this gorgeous sunrise from my back deck, just minutes ago! What a great sight to wake-up to on a Monday morning!
Sunrise anyone? More often than not when someone sees my sunrise images they ask me “Why do I get up so early just to go to see the sunrise?”. And I immediately push back with a quote that I hold on to so dearly since the very moment I’ve heard it. It’s a quote from a Jack Kerouac saying: “Because in the end, you won’t remember the time you spent working in the office or mowing your lawn. Climb that goddamn mountain.” The truth is sunrises really never get old and in this busy world we are living, many of us forget to stop and enjoy for a sec something else rather than material things. So is it worth it or not, what do you think?
There's something to be said for being an early riser - just the ducks and you - out on some very thin looking ice.
as dawn's first light washes over milan's duomo square, the day begins with a quiet splendor. the sun, peeking through the spires of the grand cathedral, casts a golden glow that glistens on the stones of the piazza. the shadows are long, the air is still, and the city breathes in the tranquility of the morning. pedestrians, small figures in the vast expanse, tread softly across the square, their movements as gentle whispers against the magnificence of history etched in the duomo's facade. this is a place where every sunrise feels like the first, a timeless scene in a city ever moving forward.

I biked past the Monon Fitness center one afternoon after we had a lot of rain the week before. I saw the flooded marsh and thought, that would probably look neat in the morning once the sun rises above the treeline.
I set my alarm for 6am the very next morning and drove back to Carmel. It's moments like this when I don't mind missing sleep...
morning light spills onto munich's center, painting paths with a golden brush. amidst this interplay of light and shadow, a cyclist becomes the artist, his two-wheeled steed casting a long, dark echo on the concrete canvas. pedaling through the cool air, his form is hunched in concentration, a solitary figure on the urban stage where the sun directs a daily performance. every turn of the wheel is a silent note in the city's waking symphony, a fleeting connection between the still-slumbering world and the break of day.

Here we go again. Now all of a sudden my text is gone. Don't know what happend but long story short. We found this little one in a dried out ditch wich we had to cross to get to the other field. Although dried out we were pretty wet because of all the dew in the bushes. But because of the dew in the grass on the bank of the ditch I was able to get this bokeh. I love the bling bling :-) . Another thing is that my timeline is not showing me all of your uploads,it bothers me but I will find you,it takes a little more time thats all.
as the early morning sun crests the horizon at palmanova beach, its rays dance across the tranquil mediterranean waters, casting a golden glow over the winter scape. silhouettes of palm trees and moored sailboats create a serene tableau, while seagulls glide gracefully above, welcoming the day. this peaceful moment, captured in the quiet of winter, reflects the stillness and beauty of dawn, a daily renaissance that rejuvenates the soul.
With temperatures dancing around the freeze mark & light fog lifting at the sun's warm touch, this secluded hilltop pond was the perfect place to catch the first light of day -- the perfect place to stand in awe of Mother Nature's extravagant Autumn display. To witness this gorgeous show up here in the northeastern corner of the U.S., is truly a special experience! | Macedonia Brook State Park, CT

Ponce de Leon claimed Florida for Spain in 1513. (Christopher Columbus discovered North America in 1492 but actually landed in the Bahamas). Other Spanish explorers later found gold and silver in Mexico and Peru. The treasure was sent back to Spain in ships sailing in the Gulf Stream. Spanish settlements needed to be built in Florida to protect the Spanish Treasure fleets. King Phillip II of Spain sent Pedro Menendez to settle in Florida and drive out French garrisons recently established there. In September 1565, Pedro Menendez with 700 soldiers and colonists landed here and founded St. Augustine making it the oldest continually occupied European settlement in North America ~ Treasure Coast ~ NE Florida ~ Saint Augustine Inlet

“Well! I’ve often seen a cat without a grin,” thought Alice; “but a grin without a cat!? It’s the most curious thing I ever saw in my life!” 🌙💜💖😸

📷: Photo captured on a crisp November morning, literally just footsteps from my (current) front door in Tennessee. The sun was moments away from breaking the horizon, casting her vibrant colors across the sky, as if celebrating another glorious rising. Birds dipped across the frost-bitten fields, broadcasting the renewal of daylight. Just ten minutes ago I was snuggled in bed, warm & asleep. My body shivered now, I could see my breath. I rubbed my eyes, in hopes to accelerate the “waking up” process. Directly overhead, seemingly watching this scene awaken, a thin sliver of moon glowed like a Cheshire Cat grin through the painted streaks of clouds. I blinked a few more times to clear my vision, then lifted my camera to eye level, and proceeded to get lost in the beauty of the morning... 😍

I woke up this morning and for the first time in weeks it wasn't raining. I couldn't decided whether to stay on my couch with a brew or go out and play. I thought to myself, I have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
I ventured out, pre dawn, the conditions looked promising. There was lots of mist and fog over the top with breaks in the clouds.
I waited a long time in hope that the sun would break through a gap. That the sky would light up and catch the fog and clouds. Unfortunately it didn't happen. I played with the shutter speed instead.
I like how this shot has come out. one of the blades was behind the fog, no matter how long I waited I could only capture 2. If I had stayed on my couch I wouldn't have captured any blades at all.

Amazing what treasures you can find when you start your day before sunrise :-) This was photographed in Monument Valley during our late September trip. Just us, a couple other photographers, and a few stray dogs.
