Under the theme of Space for human benefit and exploration, the 61st International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2010) was formally opened in Prague, Czech Republic.
Anatoly Perminov, Head of Roscosmos inaugurating the exhibition at IAC 2010 in the presence of Mr Jan Kolar, Director of the Czech Space Office, Jean-Jacques Dordain, the ESA DG and Berndt Feuerbacher, the IAF President.
During the week the exhibition will serve as a meeting point for conference participants. The exhibition is open to the public on Friday, October 1, from 14.00 to 17.00.
