this is the courtyard for my bulding. it's such a bummer that the super keeps the garbage and recycling bins out here (the building across the way doesn't, they have flowers and plants). lots of my neighbors hangout on the front steps of the building and endup blocking the door which can be annoying when you're carrying in a bike, groceries, or taking the dogs in/out. i really wish the courtyard could be a hangout but right now it smells like dirty dirty diapers. and all the rain we've been getting doesn't make that smell any better.
my neighbor talked to the super about putting plants out there but he wasnt very responsive. if i was planning on living here longterm then i'd try to do something about it but seeing as we'll be moving soon, i just dont see the point. it's still a shame though.

I have a number of large boxes. I didn't realise they would turn out so big. But here are some ideas for them. Still. I'm not sure what I should turn them into.
1. Kitchen: It will be centered around the red major applainces. Maybe I should have done that one first since I have the red kitchen set for it.
2.Bedroom
3. Lounge/living room
4. Bathroom (Seriously I have no idea how I endup with soo many barbie sinks and toilets)
5. Cafe or Bakery
6. Ice Cream Parlor
7. Dress Shop
Hari ni aku mmg agak kurang sihat.. Tak tau lah kenapa.. Pagi2 time
breakfast aku tetiba rasa semacam.. Hubby siap tegur nape muka
berpeluh2 time tgh mkn bfast tu.. Aku xtau knp tp tetiba aku rasa
weird.. Bila smpi ofis aku mmg rasa semcm.. Aku amik bantal & baring..
Terus tertido.. Sedar2 dh pukul 11.30pg.. Pkl 12 lebih hubby tnya nk
lunch ktne.. Aku ckp entahla.. Aku rasa xsedap badan & xrasa nk mkn..
So hubby ajak gi kt Anjung Budi USM coz kt situ ada mskn goreng2 yg
mungkin menyelerakan.
Hubby order char kuey teow dua.. Aku mkn separuh jer.. Fresh orange
pun aku xleh nk abiskan dan di pau oleh hubby yg kehausan.. Huhu..
Lepas mkn blk ofis aku mmg rasa xlarat.. So aku smbg tido blk.. Itupun
dgn perasaan serba xkena.. Baring xbest.. Duduk dgn kaki atas meja pun
xbest.. Pendek kata.. Serba xkena.. Satu kerja pun xmenjadi hari ni..
Balik kerja hubby ajak minum kt Cahaya Gemilang sementara tggu kereta
aku siap (hntr kedai cat hari sabtu hari tu). Order teh ais pun aku
xlarat nk abis.. Minum suku jer.. Last2 kitorg gi betulkn aircond
kereta hubby.. Kejab jer.. Pastu tgk2 kereta aku xsiap lg.. Org kedai
ckp nnt dia hntr.. So kitorg endup blk rumah..
Tak lama kt umah.. Org kedai dtg hntr kereta and mintak hubby hntr dia
blk.. Sambil tu aku fikir apalah nk masak mlm ni.. Selera aku mmg xde
langsung.. Tp kesian kt hubby, sure dia nk mkn nasi mlm ni coz siang
td mkn char kuey teow jer.. So aku larat2 kan diri, bgn and masak sup
ayam. Teringat pulak smlm gi pasar mlm jumpa mangga putik muda &
jantung pisang. Dah lama aku cari mangga muda nk wat sambal. So.. Aku
tumbuk sambal mangga.. Celur jantung pisang.. Masak nasi + sup ayam..
Alhamdulillah hubbyku mkn dengan seleranya.. Habis licin semangkuk
sambal mangga tu.. Aku pun dpt gak mkn nasi tu.. Tumpang selera hubby..
Anyway bila dah tak larat tp memasak jugak & hasil masakan habis
licin.. Badan yg xberapa nk best rasa lega skit sbb hati berbunga
riang.. Ok rasa nk tido je ni.. Harap2 mlm ni batuk berkurangan..

My friend, Malcolm aka Breeze, was visiting from L.A. We both moved to California from Chicago in 1998. It was great seeing him. I guess I am overdue for a visit to L.A. now.

But the thing that inspires me the most is his half naked body and slipper less feet.
For me , this arrangement appeals to me as Macho. Most of my uncles, my grandfathers used to roam around like this. Whenever I used to get an opportunity, I would try to emulate them, only to endup with scorched feet.
Some day ..I will definitely DO IT.
