Another shot from this weekends stroll around the deserted city on a hot summers day. It wasn't until I looked at the Gherkin through the view finder did I really notice how prominent the lower white struts were on the building, almost like spelling out the initials M W. The windows were open on this trip too, giving the rough textured look to this iconic building. The black and white treatment focuses the eye in the contrast of the struts even more so.
