WHAT IS EMCup? The EMCup is the competition amongst the best European Hotel Management Schools which takes place in Maasticht, Holland in February 2016.
WHO IS THE TEAM? Nizar Chouman, Julia Zenina, Daria Zotova, Astrakhantseva Lyubov and Isaykina Kseniya – these 5 students do dare to stand out from the crowd and make a difference with their vision and ideas. There are 3 assignments, which must be completed prior to the competition days. Don’t forget to participate and challenge yourself to think out of the box about a real life topic. Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much!
WHAT IS THE THEME? Surfing the Silver Wave. The ageing of the population is one of the most important trends determining the living and working conditions of the future. During the 21st century, the people over 60 will be the fastest-growing consumer group in the world. The first assignment is a paper, related to the theme, that each team has to write.
Social media is a big part of our world nowadays. As a part of preparation for the competition the HBTI team needs to create as much “Rumour around the brand” as possible. This means promoting our school, participation and the EMCup via different social media channels. Last but not least the team should create an introduction movie no longer than 1 minute. As they say, an image says more than a 1000 words!

Всем привет! Добро пожаловать в Facebook EMCup команды Института гостиничного бизнеса и туризма.
Во-первых, что такое EMCup? Это турнир лучших европейских школ гостеприимства, который в этом году будет проходить в Голландии в г. Маастрихт в феврале 2016 года.
Во-вторых, что за команда? Представители института в лице студентов 3-4 курса: Низар Шуман, Зенина Юлия, Зотова Дарья, Астраханцева Любовь и Исайкина Ксения на протяжении трех месяцев будут выполнять задания турнира, за которые присуждаются баллы. Но, несмотря на сформированную команду, каждый студент института может помочь этому большому делу, и только все вместе мы сможем прийти к победе!
В-третьих, какие задания? Тема турнира: старение населения и реакция на это сферы гостеприимства. А вы когда-нибудь задумывались, какими будете через 35 лет? Хотели бы вы, чтобы путешествия стали неотъемлемой частью вашей жизни и в 55? Именно эту тематику исследует и развивает команда, конечным результатом чего станет научная статья, представленная на турнире. Это первое задание.
Несомненно, влияние интернета и социальных сетей на жизнь современных людей огромно. Вторым заданием команды является активное продвижение своего института и самой команды, а также поднятие этой актуальной проблемы на обсуждение всех интернет-пользователей. Третьим и самым интересным заданием является создание презентационного ролика команды, в котором будет также задействован весь институт. Всего за минуту необходимо рассказать жюри и остальным участникам конкурса кто мы и как понимаем эту тему.
EMCup – это прекрасная возможность расширить горизонты не только своих знаний, но и познакомиться с другими школами нашей сферы. Это масштабный проект, это увлекательное путешествие, это просто весело! Ты с нами?
