Under the 2012 Budget last Friday, the Government has increased the working age from 58 to 60. The reason is to increase the contribution to their pension fund to finance their retirement age.
But, it seems that people have been working until death nowadays. Maybe instead of looking at increasing the age, a proper study needs to be undertaken as to why we are not saving enough?
To my understanding, bokeh is the inability to have DOF. The human eye (those with normal eyesight) is a perfect creation by God as we can see things in great DOF even in low light.
Therefore, having said that, bokeh is actually a shortcoming, a flaw. But having gotten used to perfection, our eyes, our minds begin to interpret these imperfections as beautiful.
Well, your mileage might vary but that is how I interpret what I'm seeing and the reason probably I'm (like most people) are attracted to bokeh..
Reminded me of something a dear friend once mentioned to me:
God's way of making things perfect is by making things imperfect..
I guess my friend was right..:)
Happy Bokeh Wednesday..:)
One of the main things I love about my country is the diversity of its people, religions, cultures and most importantly, food...:P
In conjunction with the Malaya's 54th Independence Day on 31 August and Malaysia Day on 16 September.
Happy Birthday Malaysia!
Fuji Neopan 1600 test roll. Thanks to Dr Pishal for this film. A bit grainy but that is to be expected from a fast film developed in Rodinal.
This roll was exposed at EI800. From what I gathered, the Neopan 1600 has a native EI of 1000 and pushable to 1600. To tell you the truth I have no idea on how to test etc. But at EI800, it is very good IMO.
My next quest is to test for EI3200 or more..
Ilford Delta 100 pushed 2 stops and reversed in PQ Universal
Delta 100 at EI400 is tried, true and lovely. Next time I'll rate it at EI800 at see how it goes.
Friday is considered a holy day and this is the only day in the week whereby we pray the Friday Prayers in congregation.
It is always refreshing to go to the places like ISTAC whereby the sermons which stress more about self improvement and self discipline which are the greatest jihad; the fight against one's own evil.
