Yalıboyu Konakları
Yeşilırmak kenarında tarihi sur duvarları üzerine, ahşap çatkı arası, kerpiç dolgulu olarak inşaa edilmişlerdir. Kırma ya da beşik çatı üzeri, oluklu kiremitle örtülü bir biçimde düzenlenmiş olan ve geleneksel Osmanlı evinin bütün özelliklerini bünyesinde taşıyan bu evler, Amasya’nın tarihsel kimliğiyle uyumlu bir görünüm arz etmektedir. Evler bitişik nizamda, bodrum üzeri tek kat ya da iki katlı olarak düzenlenmişlerdir. Bazı uygulamalarda birinci kat üzerinde bazı uygulamalarda ise ikinci kat üzerinde köşk olarak bilinen şahniş yer almaktadır. Evler genellikle avlulu ve bahçelidir. Avluda su kuyusu ve ocak ilk göze çarpan nesnelerdir.
Amasya evlerinde iç ve dış bölümlerinde yer alan bütün birimler arasında kesintisiz bir bağlantı söz konusu olup, bu bağlantı birbirini tamamlayıcı niteliktedir. Konutların ikinci kat uygulamaları genellikle dışa taşkın, cumbalı olarak yapılmakta ve bu sayede hem evin plânında bir simetri oluşmakta, hem de daha fazla yer kazanmak söz konusu olmaktadır. Özellikle Yalıboyu'nda tarihi sur duvarı üzerine yapılmış olan konutlarda, bu durumu çarpıcı bir şekilde görebiliriz. Buradaki konutlar, “eliböğründe”lerle desteklenerek dışa taşırılmış ve böylece evlerin iç mekanlarında bir genişleme meydana gelerek mekan kazanımı sağlanmıştır. Günlük yaşam, evlerin iç mekanında sofa (hayat) etrafında biçimlenen odalar içerisinde geçmektedir. Bu odalarda genellikle ocak, şerbetlik, yüklük (gömme dolap), raf ve sedir gibi işlevsel birimler bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca birkaç örnek dışında evlerde bağımsız bir gusülhane bulunmadığı için bazı odalarda büyük ve geniş olarak düzenlenmiş olan yüklükler, gusülhane (banyo) olarak düzenlenmiştir.

They were built on the historical fortification walls on the edge of Yeşilırmak, between wooden frames and filled with adobe. These houses, which are arranged on a hipped or gable roof, covered with corrugated tiles and carry all the features of a traditional Ottoman house, present an appearance in harmony with the historical identity of Amasya. The houses are arranged in adjoining order, with one or two floors above the basement. In some applications, there is a falcon, known as a kiosk, on the first floor, and in some applications, on the second floor. Houses usually have courtyards and gardens. The water well and the hearth in the courtyard are the first objects to be noticed.
There is an uninterrupted connection between all the units in the interior and exterior parts of Amasya houses, and this connection is complementary to each other. The second floor applications of the houses are usually made with an overhanging bay window, thus creating a symmetry in the plan of the house and gaining more space. We can see this strikingly especially in the residences built on the historical city wall in Yalıboyu. The residences here were supported by “eliböğrünü” and thus, an expansion occurred in the interior spaces of the houses, thus gaining space. Daily life takes place in the rooms shaped around the sofa (life) in the interior of the houses. These rooms usually have functional units such as stove, sherbet, closet (built-in cupboard), shelf and ottoman. In addition, apart from a few examples, since there is no independent ghusl in the houses, the large and wide cupboards in some rooms are arranged as ghuslhane (bathroom).

კავკასიძეების ციხე, თექალე — ციხესიმაგრე თანამედროვე თურქეთის ტერიტორიაზე, ართვინის პროვინციაში, იუსუფელის რაიონში. კავკასიძეები პარხლის მფლობელები იყვნენ და სავარაუდოდ, ოთხთა ეკლესიაც მათი უნდა ყოფილიყო. ე. თაყაიშვილი წიგნში „1917 წლის არქეოლოგიური ექსპედიცია სამხრეთ საქართველოში“ ამ ციხეს ოთხთა ეკლესიის ციხედ იხსენიებს და ტაბულებში დართული აქვს ფოტო წარწერით: „ამავე წიგნში დამოწმებულია ამ ციხის ერთადერთი წარწერა, სადაც საყდრის აღმშენებელი და ციხის მფლობელი მურვან კავკასიძეა მოხსენიებული. ამ ისტორიული ძეგლზე სხვა თითქმის არაფერია ცნობილი“.
Kitabesi bulunmayan Kale, muhtemelen Ortaçağ’da Bagratlılarca inşa edilmiştir. Kale, köye çıkmadan yolun kenarında bulunan yüksekçe anakayanın üzerinde bulunmaktadır. Doğu ucunda küçük bir şapel yer almakta olup düzgün kesme taştandır. Batı yönündeki kulesi kısmen ayaktadır. Fakat sur duvarları yıkılmıştır.

O yürüme zamanı boyunca acaba bir fotoğraf çekmek için bu kadar zahmet ve eziyete değermiydi diye kendimle çok tartışmıştım.Gerçekten zor bir zaman dilimiydi,işe gidiyordum üstelik bu fotoğrafı çekebilmek için geç kalmayı göze almıştım ve nitekim daha önce bu fotoğrafı çekmek gibi bir planım olmadığı için de geç kalmıştım. I had to walk for about forty-five minutes to take this photo. During that walking time, I debated with myself a lot about whether it was worth all the effort and pain to take a photo. It was a really difficult time, I was going to work, besides, I had to risk being late to take this photo, and since I had no plans to take this photo before. I was late. But now I look at it, yes it was worth it because the wall where this graffiti was made has been demolished and this picture is no longer there! maybe this photo is the only and unique in the world. Adatepe köyü yüksek duvarların ardına gizlenmeye çalışan taş evleri ve serin gölgeli sokaklarıyla Kazdağlarının eteklerinde geçmişten kalma bir fotoğraf gibidir. Koruma altına alındıktan sonra eski ihtişamlı günlerine geri dönme savaşı vermektedir.
Adatepe Köyü şehir yorgunlarının sığınma, streslerinden arınma yeridir. Tüm dostlarıma bu güzel köyü ziyaret edip, Kazdağları'nın muhteşem doğasında birkaç gün geçirmesini tavsiye ederim.
Adatepe village, which is surrounded by olive tres and pine forests, is located on the far west slopes of mythological Mt.Ida. Besides the diversity of its rich flora and fauna, Ida is also well known for its high level of oxygene. Adatepe village is under protection as a natural and a historical heritage site.

Sumela Monastery, Trabzon/Turkiye
Location: 40°41′31″N 39°39′28″E Northeast Turkiye
The monastery was founded in 386 AD during the reign of the Emperor Theodosius I (375 - 395), Legend has it that two priests undertook its creation after discovering a miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary in a cave on the mountain.
During its long history, the monastery fell into ruin several times and was restored by various emperors. During the 6th century, it was restored and enlarged by General Belisarius at the behest of Justinian.
It reached its present form in the 13th century after gaining prominence during the reign of Alexios III (1349 - 1390) of the Komnenian Empire of Trebizond, established in 1204. At that time, the monastery was granted an amount annually from imperial funds. During the time of Manuel III, son of Alexius III, and during the reigns of subsequent princes, Sumela gained further wealth from imperial grants. Following the conquest by the Ottoman Sultan Mehmed II in 1461, it was granted the sultan's protection and given rights and privileges that were renewed by following sultans. The monastery remained a popular destination for monks and travelers through the years.

The Dutch street art duo Telmo Miel is known all over the world for their murals. The two artists are really creative and each have their own style. Telmo Pieper's work is challenging and humorous, while Miel Krutzmann's work is steeped in romanticism and has a more picturesque style. Based in Rotterdam, the duo combine their different styles in beautiful murals that can be seen at several places around the world. In 2019 they also combined their expertise with another world class artist, namely the in Australian born Sam Bates. In the streetart world he is known by the name Smug and Smug One. He has been living and working in Scotland for years, where he has made very realistic murals. His style can mainly be characterized as photo-realistic. The special collaboration and the different styles have resulted in the very impressive and extremely beautiful mural at the korte Hillestraat near metro station Rijnhaven in the Afrikaanderwijk and is part of the Feijenoord district in the atmospheric south of Rotterdam. The message behind the artwork is that all people are actually all equal on the inside. I think this mural is really beautiful because of the combined styles, but it is also unique because of the combination of a lady with clothes, a skeleton and a bird. Add the shades of pink, purple and white on the gray wall of the flat and the result is a world-class artwork.It is probably the most photographed mural in Rotterdam since it was painted there during the international oriented cultural urban art festival POW! WOW! In 2019. A very long time ago, the Afrikaanderwijk was briefly home to football club Feyenoord, although the football club had a different name at the time. The district was then a typical working-class neighborhood where many hard working migrants lived, mostly from the Dutch province of Zeeland. They often worked in the world-famous port of Rotterdam. In 2022 it is a very nice multicultural neighborhood with very beautiful and impressive murals in many places.

Zo is Telmo Pieper zijn werk uitdagend en humoristisch terwijl Miel Krutzmann zijn werk doordrenkt is van romantiek en een meer schilderachtige stijl heeft. Het duo heeft als thuisbasis Rotterdam en zij combineren hun verschillende stijlen in hun prachtige muurschilderingen die op meerdere plekken over heel de wereld te zien zijn. In 2019 hebben ze hun krachten ook nog eens gecombineerd met een andere wereldtopper, namelijk de in Australia geboren Sam Bates. In de kunstwereld is hij bekend onder de naam Smug en Smug One. Hij is al jaren woonachtig en werkzaam in Schotland waar hij zeer mooie muurschilderingen heeft gemaakt. Bates is ook internationaal bekend. Zijn stijl is vooral te kenmerken als fotorealistisch. De boodschap achter het kunstwerk is volgens bronnen op internet dat alle mensen van binnen eigenlijk allemaal gelijk zijn. Ik vind deze muurschildering echt fantastisch mooi vanwege de gecombineerde stijlen en de details, maar het is ook uniek vanwege de combinatie van de dame met kleding, het skelet en de vogel. Voeg daarbij de kleuren roze, paars en wit op de grijze muur van de flat en een kunstwerk van wereldklasse is het resultaat. Het is denk wel de meest gefotografeerde muurschildering van Rotterdam sinds het daar geschilderd is tijdens het internationale georiënteerde culturele urban art festival POW! WOW! In 2019. Heel Lang geleden was de Afrikaanderwijk korte tijd de thuisbasis van voetbalclub Feyenoord, al had het de meest interessante volksclub van Nederland toen nog een andere naam. De wijk was toen een typische volksbuurt waar veel arbeidsmigranten woonden, veelal uit de Nederlandse provincie Zeeland, die in de wereldberoemde Rotterdamse haven werkten. Anno 2022 is het een hele leuke multiculturele wijk met op veel plekken erg mooie en indrukwekkende muurschilderingen.

The ability of people to create is one of the most special characteristics that define a human person. This magical creativity inside people has already produced countless beautiful songs, books, poems, films, TV series, theatrical performances, musicals, plays, architecture, and so on. In the same way, art is also a wonderful product of the creative process but unfortunately it doesn't always manifest itself in people in this busy time where expectations and unnecessary pressure are starting to become more normal and polarization has become a kind of sanctuary. Fortunately, artist Ian Kirk Patrick uses his creative mastermind very well to bring people together. Like many others, he was enchanted by the diversity and beauty of the city of Rotterdam and he immediately fell in love with the city. This has resulted in the fabulously beautiful mural on the Kruiskadehof in the heart of the center of this special city. It is a colorful modern work of art that represents Rotterdam and is full of authenticity. The details of the painting are one of a kind. His love for the city is clearly recognizable in the graffiti-like public street artwork and the masterpiece is therefore a feast for the eyes. Rotterdam make it happen!

Het vermogen van mensen om te creëren is een van de meest bijzondere kenmerken die er in ons schuil gaat. Deze magische creativiteit in de mens heeft al talloze mooie liedjes, foto’s, boeken, gedichten, films, tv-series, toneelstukken en musicals opgeleverd. Op dezelfde manier is kunst ook een prachtig product van het creatieve proces, maar helaas manifesteert het zich niet altijd in alle mensen in deze drukke tijd waarin verwachtingen en onnodige druk normaler beginnen te worden en polarisatie een soort van heiligdom is geworden. Gelukkig gebruikt kunstenaar Ian Kirk Patrick nog wel zijn creatieve brein heel goed en zijn thema is vaak saamhorigheid. Net als vele anderen was hij betoverd door de diversiteit en schoonheid van de stad Rotterdam en werd hij meteen smoorverliefd op de stad. Dit heeft geresulteerd in de fabelachtig mooie muurschildering op het Kruiskadehof in het hart van het centrum van deze bijzondere stad. Het is een kleurrijk modern kunstwerk dat Rotterdam vertegenwoordigt en vol authenticiteit zit. De details van het schilderij zijn uniek. Zijn liefde voor de stad is duidelijk herkenbaar in het graffiti-achtige openbare straatkunstwerk en het is dan ook een lust voor het oog. Rotterdam maak het waar!
