Mardy Broks took over this Dutch Treats store in 2022 on Holland Street East in Bradford. We take a drive every now and then to stock up on koek, speculaas, Conimex Indonesian spice packages for nasi- and bami goreng. They always have Friese nagelkaas (with cloves and cumin) and "Fryske ljirre", smoked horsemeat! Candy in the form of sweet Liquorice and some zoute "dropkes".
Its figures like these with sharp likenesses and strong posability that tempt me away from the 1/6 kingdom. Not to mention the 1/6 price points keep rising while the variety blows.
Anyway, I didn't like my shots of the Predator himself so you're getting a double dose of Dutch.
Holland Village, Singapore’s “Bohemian” enclave (or as the locals endearingly referred to as “Holland V”). Till today "Holland V" is one of the most Guarded Places in Singapore. From what I see it's a vibrant place where young party animals congregate...

Alongside the Dutch River and Yorkshire Feedstuffs animal feed storage sheds on a small disused dock at Goole, as the sun sets on 23rd November 2016, stands this once ubiquitous Priestman lattice boom crawler dock crane, fitted with a high view cab and grab and drag line. It must be several years since this veteran machine was last used for unloading vessels on the river.

Dutch liveried Infrastructure Class 37/0 37054 was recorded near South Bank with what I guess was a local move of containers to Wilton Freightliner Terminal.
D6754 entered service in September 1962. During the 1980s it worked regularly on East Anglia passenger services based on Liverpool Street and in the 1990s worked in South Wales and the West Country. Initially stored serviceable in late 1993 it saw work on infrastructure services before being allocated for component recovery. It was scrapped at Motherwell in September 2003.
