This is our new dog, Duke. He is a "rescue" dog and is about nine months old. Duke is part lab and part hound, and when he does bark, it comes booming out his body like a foghorn. He doesn't bark all that often, though. He is a sweetie and very friendly with the kids. The perfect playmate!

the duke breed was developed in the mid 90's his grandmother bebe ( a chihuahua) mated with a pomeranian thus creating his father pekachui. his grandpa on his mom side was a shitzu and his mate was a border terrier and created his mother princess. we had pekachui and princess breed and made 14 duke puppies. dukes were made for swimming, hunting, hiking with there master. one of the most loyal dogs there is. they are very energetic dogs . they are a small to medium size breed dog.
I went out with my Dad yesterday when he was training Duke with the dummies. He had a go with the duck, pigeon and rabbit dummies and he thought it was fantastic. Although he does have a rather strange way of carrying the dummies with his tongue out like that.
