A 77 hour Lumenbox Twin exposure.

I took this photo of the statue of Terry Fox on Sparks Street in Ottawa yesterday afternoon with my old Fujifilm FinePix REAL 3D W3. I just love this camera and 3D photography. I am really sad that 3D photos, when viewed on a real 3D monitor or TV, are no longer a thing. They produce something that 2D images simply cannot give: the illusion of three-dimensional depth, which makes looking at scenes much more engaging and true to life.

The FinePix W3 is equipped with dual Fujinon lenses and dual CCD sensors designed to capture synchronized stereoscopic image pairs.

When viewed through standard red-cyan 3D glasses, the separate left and right perspectives combine in the brain to create 3D depth perception. Of course, it is not the best way to see the 3D images produced by the W3... but it is easier on Flickr.
