Next Tuesday, the 22nd of January we will start mixing Drupal with drinking like the old days. Come join us from 7pm until 9pm-ish at Be Bar (1318 9th Street NW, Washington, DC 20001 :p (202) 232-7450). This is right by the convention center so will be easy for the after work crowd to get to and with free wifi it will be great for lighting talks. We will bring the mini projector, so start thinking about quick 5 minute egg timer demos. Like normal there will be 6 of them. The quick demos will start around 7:15 and just go for 30 minutes. Drove to Århus tonight together with Anders to meet up with fellow Drupalers. Anders showed our site and specifically introduced the awesomeness of the Context module to some of the newcomers to Drupal. We also celebrated a belated Drupal 7 release party with a glass of champagne :)
Nu de zomer eindelijk in het land is, opent de Drupal Summer School zijn deuren. De eerste sessie, “Drupal geïnstalleerd. Wat nu?” leidt ons langs de principes achter drupal en de bouwstenen die voor handen zijn voor ieder Drupalproject.
We illustreren zo vaak mogelijk met voorbeelden uit real-world projecten en besluiten de avond met een groepsgesprek waarin alles wat met Drupal te maken heeft, aan bod kan komen.
