My upload for a weekly photo challenge I'm doing with a group of Flickr friends. This week's theme is "Reflection".
My image this week is one that I found on my phone (and pimped just a little), taken recently at very close range of the centre of a round driving light on a 4WD.
Taken somewhere in the mountains of Crete, about 30 minutes from Sfakia.
Booked a simple Dacia Duster hire car with manual transmission and deep windows and ended up with a hybrid Jeep Renegade that had a 7-speed auto box and no suspension to speak of. Lots of torque on offer, though.
There are only three of these, so they're 13x as rare as 250 GTOs. I don't see the price going down soon...

I had grabbed a shot a few seconds before this and they stopped here to ask "Did you get it?" I said "Yes, but let me grab one more" and took this one. (Much better than the previous one.) And for all the people trying to get nice clean shots of the cars in a big field of them I'd suggest finding a spot early or late in the day and wait for them to come by...

Two stylish ladies posing with a German-built Ford in a parking lot. The vehicle is equipped with a searchlight, an additional driving light, and a perspex visor, attached to the hood ornament. A horseshoe has been attached to the radiator grille as a lucky charm. The car is registered in the Austrian city of Graz.

first registered in Derbyshire and could of been blue at one time, on checks it only comes up as Austin Mini 1000, but as the bonnet opens from the front wings, and it is wearing a clubman boot badge, it could well be a true clubman, but not a Mini 1275GT
Marchal sticker from the late sixties and early seventies. I originally had Marchals on the front until some idiot in San Mateo backed up into me while parked. People in Northern California are the worst drivers on the planet.
