Another sedan which was not sold in the NL.
Together with it's brother, the Peugeot 301, is sold very well in Poland. They are litarly everywhere. Lots of them are in use as a taxi, drivinglessons-cars or company-cars.
The Peugeot 301 is built in Spain, Turkey, China and Nigeria. Together with its brother the Citroën C-Élysée.
Both are sold in Eastern-Europe, but the Citroën C-Élysée is also sold in France, Germany and Italy.
But still, the 301 sells a bit better.

Almost.
Had my driving lesson today. It went pretty good. Started off, and I thought it was gonna be a total disaster. But we did dual carriageways and emergency stops (which I really don't like !) and a few other things that I've already learnt but needed to work on. I have another lesson on Friday just to keep everything going, and stay on track for taking my test.
I looked for flights today, as I do every day (to see if the price has stayed static) and I found out that it's gone up £35 ! I'm hopefully booking on Friday. My Grandma is booking for me.
We have Alex's graduation tomorrow ! I'm really looking forward to it. I have to take my camera and play photographer tomorrow. It's going to be a good day, she worked really hard to get her 2:1 so I'm proud of her :]
I like this shot, the interchanging light is so good. The bokeh makes it a lot better. I'm using a tripod now, and so when I put everything onto the computer, the shots are actually upside down. I tried to make it so that I had both the swooshes in the shot; some of the shots I did Monday didn't look so good, but I worked it out and I'm getting there.
Oh, I just heard this song on Zane Lowe's Show on Radio 1. It was tonight's sunsetter; a song they play during the sunset just to chill everyone out and reminisce a little bit.

off to my first driving lesson! My first lesson in using a stick shift with the wrong hand while driving on the wrong side of the road, that is - have had a perfectly good license for years and years. Thanks to local quirks, however, my license has made me legal to drive everywhere on the planet *except* for where I actually live, which is pretty silly indeed. Thus the lessons.

This rather random shot was taken during my wife's driving lessons in China. She stopped a little too suddenly and I almost got thrown from the back seat into the front of the car.
Today I took my son for a lesson. He is not as bad a driver as this photo would suggest! Fisheye 10.5mm again, propped up on the dashboard on self timer.
Good movie. It kind of reminded me of Harold and Maude but without the whole romance thing.
Rupert Grint was great and surprisingly handsome (I don't mean that in a bad way, I guess I remember seeing him like a little kid in the first Harry Potter hehe). However, Laura Linney tends to play characters that just annoy me.

A letter to my mum and dad, typed in my flat in Poplar, on a Mac Plus, printed on an Imagewriter (signed in brown ink?).
The story here is that I'd just got my first post-college job (I was a bit of a late starter), working in what used to be called an 'output bureau' in Fulham - the kind of place you used to go to get your typesetting output to film (there was a huge Linotype imagesetter with a Postscript processor stood next to it) or a document printed on one of those new laser printers (the revolutionary Apple LaserWriter).
I was running a brand new department. A department that consisted of me, a desk, an awesome Mac II and a machine that 'printed' Powerpoint (and Aldus Persuasion, natch) presentations to actual 35mm slides. I told a young person about this recently and they a) didn't believe this was a thing and b) couldn't accept the idea that Powerpoint was older than they were.
This bit of kit had a very very slow CRT in it which very very slowly exposed a roll of 35mm film - essentially a slide scanner running backwards. It would take hours and hours to output a single roll and, since we offered a (very expensive) overnight service, I would often set the thing running at going-home time, come back at midnight to pick up the film, then take it over to Joe's Basement in Wardour Street and sit around while it was processed. Then I'd take it back to Fulham and mount the slides ready for the couriers in the morning.
And if the presentation was longer than 36 slides I'd have to load another roll of film and do the whole thing again. Likewise, if the film had got stuck or the computer crashed (which it did, all the time), the whole process would have to be repeated. As we began to win business I was barely getting any sleep… It's making me twitch just thinking about it. Luckily they fired me for general incompetence before I died of exhaustion.

As Spain does not have a Provisional Licence system, the only person who can teach you to drive is a registered driving instructor.
A Spanish driving licence (licencia de conducción) is the standard EU model: a plastic, credit card-sized permit with photograph. Older licences are laminated pink cards with a photograph of the holder.
Many other things has changed in Spain due to EU laws.
The Guardia Civil is the arm of the government that patrols the highways. Since joining the European Union, the laws have become stricter and are more enforced.
The Guardia Civil collect fines on the spot from non-residents, so always carry cash or a bank debit card. If you are not carrying cash, they may impound your car if you cannot find a resident to sign on your behalf.
Lack of knowledge is not considered an excuse, so you won’t get out of it just because you are a tourist.

Time is definitely flying! Charlotte has just got her 'learners' licence and had her first lesson with Sally. Her second, with me, did not end well and she is having future lessons with a driving school!!
Being a guy the speeding vehicles often catch my fantasies. I was eagerly waiting to learn driving lessons but time was not able to take out the time now I cannot wait further. I had managed my time to join driving school. So,finally looking for the driving lessons instructors in Australia.
I had contacted various driving schools but their classes timings are not flexible. They do not offer any assistance in getting the license after the completion of training session and also charging hefty amount. I was in a state of utter confusion until my friend suggested me for the Australian School of Motoring.
Their services includes Practical Training,Log Book Training & Overseas conversions,all the instructors have policy clearance having membership of ADTA or PDTA. They offer so friendly services as they picked me from the school whenever I call them for the drivers test.
The driving school instructors accessed my previous license and the level of Knowledge I have of the Australian roads. Then the instructor has taken me the quiet area where he replaced his seat with mine. I got a mix of feelings,i was quite excited to drive for the first time but it made me a bit nervous inside.
The instructor followed very systematic methodology as he recorded the hours in Log Book after the completion of each session. Then only he booked me for the next session. These lessons were either for 60 minutes or 90 minutes. The driving school charge on the hourly basis. They charged me $ 65 whenever I learn for 60 minutes and they charged me $ 90 whenever I learned for 90 minutes.
A.S.M has been providing driving lessons for more than 30 years. Their instructors available in the city of Adelaide, the surrounding suburbs and Adelaide Hills as per the convenience. They provided me with practical testing, log book and overseas conversion. Their instructors are friendly, professional drivers with many years experience, gave me the assurance that I’m in safe hands.
I'm so happy that I learned the driving at very competitive rates. I will suggest it to my other friends as well.
