Early during spring migration, I hear "Drink Your Tea" outside my window. I go look and happily find this Eastern Towhee scratching around frantically in the mulch. Joyous Spring!

A Komodo Dragon at Chester Zoo.
Komodo dragons were first documented by Europeans in 1910, when rumours of a "land crocodile" reached Lieutenant van Steyn van Hensbroek of the Dutch colonial administration.
The first two live Komodo dragons to arrive in Europe were exhibited in the Reptile House at London Zoo when it opened in 1927.
Reaching up to 10 feet in length and more than 300 pounds, they are the heaviest lizards on Earth.

The old classic mock champagne called 'Cold Duck' is merely a play on words as is 'drink' for the pool of water.
These Mallard ducks found a fresh pool amidst the frozen falls and waters.
This is a part of the procedure of a water purification system. It is a step in the process to make the water feel softer, ie to get rid of most of the iron and lime etc...

The unique shape of the 15m high sea stack resembles a giant dinosaur enjoying a drink from the ocean.
The shot was taken at sunrise (and what a sunrise it was!) on my last day in Iceland. What a glorious way to end such an unforgettable trip!
